The Kaohsiung Branch of the Taiwan High Prosecutors Office investigated and found that a retired Air Force master sergeant surnamed Chen, acting under the direction of a CCP intelligence organization since late 2020, induced an active-duty Army sergeant first class to probe secrets such as the Han Kuang Exercise and tank parameters, and recruited a retired Political Warfare lieutenant to expand the network. The three received 3,000 to 6,000 RMB per month, and prosecutors filed indictments on serious charges including violations of the National Security Act.
