Anthropic Report Says Actors Used Claude to Plot Smear Campaigns and Mass Reporting Against Uyghur Post Journalists

Anthropic's September report named the Uyghur Post, saying it found actors using Claude to plan coordinated mass reporting, smearing, and bot amplification targeting the outlet's journalists, and analyzing the economic pressures, family separations, and relatives inside China of overseas Uyghurs to find exploitable weaknesses.
