The U.S. House of Representatives is expected to vote on September 17 on a bill that expands sanctions against Russia, extends sanctions against Iran, and grants Trump new tariff powers. The bill already passed the Senate on August 7 by 86 votes to 11. Within 30 days of taking effect, the president will impose asset freezes and visa bans on Russian officials and tariffs of up to 500% on Russian goods.
