On October 20, a netizen in Hunan posted on Douyin a picture of a child wearing a pink jacket, with a paper "explosive pack" bearing a red five-pointed star on the back and a prop hand grenade hanging from it. Netizens in the comments section mocked: "Just because there's a red star doesn't make you a terrorist" and "Is this some Taliban school?"
