This triggered an online mobbing campaign against stall owner Hu Ermei, who had been running her stall for more than four years. Overwhelmed by the pressure, Hu Ermei jumped into the river and took her own life. Netizens expressed regret one after another and angrily condemned the person who posted the negative review.
