On October 21, the official account of Jiaxian Experimental High School in Jiaxian, Pingdingshan, Henan, posted a promotional video showing several teachers carrying kettles into classrooms during breaks to pour water for students one by one, captioned "A cup of hot tea warms the heart." This drew criticism from netizens, who said that bullying of teachers should be banned and that teachers should be able to work with dignity.
