Hello, dear viewers, and welcome to today's October 5, 2026, episode of Lude Media's Dr. Yan Speaks. Yes, today we are bringing you a series of topics that everyone is very concerned about, right? Yesterday, when we were halfway through the program, a "sticky rice ball" (viewer) reminded us that a major piece of breaking news had just emerged: the CCP female agent who surveilled the son of President Mai Qingde had been arrested. Subsequently, Lude Media provided an initial explanation based on the information known at that time. Now, a day has passed, and I have read through her indictment. Wow, the indictment is full of details, and I believe everyone will be very interested, because I found that although the media has reported a lot about this indictment, other media outlets have kept it very simple. We can connect the dots for you here and go through it thoroughly. Also, another topic for today is the mysterious plague that has broken out in Russia, right? We need to talk about this matter properly. Alright, first, let's greet our viewers. Oh, right off the bat, I see our viewer piano a y, highlighted. Thank you, piano a y, for saying "happy Monday to Doctor Yan." Alright, happy Monday to everyone.
Come, let's look at this. Before we get to the main topic, let me add a few words. I said that Lee Jae-myung's government is going to have trouble, right? Look at how he is frantically suppressing anti-CCP behavior domestically, right? Frantically pro-CCP, and frantically and covertly anti-American. Look at what is happening in South Korea now. On October 3rd, Gaecheonjeol (National Foundation Day), an important holiday in South Korea, the spectacular scene at the protest site can be compared to some of the large-scale protests in Hong Kong back in the day, though perhaps not the largest. Because we don't know exactly how far it stretched, but just looking at the sea of people, it is at least comparable to some of the larger demonstrations that ranked among the top during the anti-extradition bill movement in Hong Kong. This time, because Gaecheonjeol is a relatively important holiday with strong national symbolic significance, it commemorates Dangun, who is said in traditional mythology to have established Gojoseon in 2333 BC. Therefore, it is often regarded as one of the important commemorative days, right? And it is a fixed public holiday. Speaking of which, South Korea claims that Gojoseon existed since 2300 BC, so no wonder the CCP is frantically trying to fabricate its own history to match the Sanxingdui mythology from 3000 BC, right? Otherwise, if their history doesn't even measure up to Korea's, how embarrassing would that be? Isn't that right? Even though the Koreans themselves say that it is mythology.
And then, this is the whole thing from Seoul City Hall all the way to Gwanghwamun and Sungnyemun, with massive crowds of people—this must easily be hundreds of thousands of people. It is said that at least twenty thousand to thirty thousand people participated! They say the slogans being chanted were also opposing the Chinese Communist Party, opposing communism, opposing any further easing of policies toward the Chinese Communist Party, demanding that Lee Jae-myung step down to stand trial, and strengthening the US-South Korea alliance. Hey, I told you Lee Jae-myung was digging his own grave, right? And at the same time, there are also multiple conservative political parties and groups separately organizing large-scale rallies in other places, right? There are many synchronized ones! And among them, there are many, many young people who are directly shouting for the impeachment of Lee Jae-myung. You see, this is also a very Gen Z approach, right? Young people taking to the streets and saying Lee Jae-myung is a fake president and a slave of the Chinese Communist Party. Oh, they are really shouting it out very clearly, right? South Korea's young people see things very clearly too. Ah, look at this, there are even children. Oh, it reminds me of the anti-extradition bill movement in Hong Kong, right? Look at all these videos from so many different angles here, they all show—why else would we say that when the Chinese Communist Party plotted to bring down Yoon Suk-yeol, it was preplanned, striking with a tactic that Yoon's side simply couldn't defend against and never expected! At the same time, it was a coordinated effort from the inside and outside, cooperating with the moles around Lee—around Yoon Suk-yeol. We've talked about this before, Lei; there were moles around Yoon Suk-yeol. This was someone who did business in the Chinese Communist Party's country and was reeled in by the Chinese Communist Party back in the 1990s, later becoming a trusted advisor to Yoon Suk-yeol. He was the one who set him up. After setting him up, remember back then, Lee Jae-myung rushed over immediately to talk about this, trying to stop any curfew, trying to stop martial law, and including how back then there were also some sparse crowds of people supporting Lee Jae-myung and opposing Yoon Suk-yeol. Look at this! When the true public opinion of South Korea comes out, what a massive show of force this is! How can that compare to those people who were manipulated into supporting Lee Jae-myung back when opposing Yoon Suk-yeol, right?
And then, besides this matter, another huge scandal has broken out in South Korea! The officers and soldiers of their frontline troops were actually executing patrol missions without ammunition in their guns; the rifles had no ammunition at all. Ah, it is said that it's not just a platoon or a company; across the Army's 1st Corps, 2nd Corps, 3rd Corps, 5th Corps, and so on, it was found that the firearms carried by the on-duty officers and soldiers did not have ammunition. But when they go on those patrols, it is very obvious—including near the boundary lines where conflicts could break out at any time—that going there just to put on a show clearly indicates that Lee Jae-myung is deliberately easing restrictions on the North Korean issue, cooperating with the Chinese Communist Party to internalize the affairs of the Korean Peninsula. This protest is also against their attempt to internalize the Korean Peninsula's affairs, and then lowering tensions by desperately claiming that US military participation is no longer needed, that wartime operational control should be taken back by South Korea, and driving out the US military. Obviously, this protest is also against this series of packages from the Lee Jae-myung government—policies covertly advanced while helping the Chinese Communist Party do its dirty work. It looks like Lee Jae-myung is definitely going to have more and more days of feeling like sitting on pins and needles; it just depends on how much longer he can stay in that seat.
And speaking of this, let's take a look at another matter—about the terrorist attack. You know about the UK, right? It is said that the sixth person arrested was also released on bail without charges. Ah, there are reports coming out now that this person is very likely the one—wasn't it said that five people were arrested and five released? Released on bail at Fairford. Later it was said the UK arrested another person, described as holding dual British and Iranian citizenship. Now news is coming out that this person has also been released on bail without charges. I'm not entirely sure if it refers to the same person, but right now it's said that six people have been released on bail without charges, which is quite terrifying because the UK doesn't publish the specific identities of these people, and you can only look at various reports. In short, it feels like the UK is terrified of actually detaining these terrorists, which is why news came out today: on October 4, local time on October 4, the United States withdrew all 12 B-1 bombers from Fairford Air Base back to the US mainland. This is a major event, because the signal is now very clear: they do not trust the UK's ability to protect the security of these bombers. Moreover, regarding the successor to current UN Ambassador Watts—when Watts went to serve as UN Ambassador, wasn't there a newly elected Florida House Representative taking that seat? The replacement Florida representative is named Randy Fine, and he specifically published a statement about this matter, saying that the UK has fallen, and the entire United Islamic Kingdom is no longer a reliable ally of the United States. Well, obviously, all of us can see that the UK has acted a bit too dishonorably in this matter, right?
And now, officials at the Pentagon have issued a statement. On Sunday, they said that due to operational security concerns, it was previously impossible to verify or confirm in real time the movement of our equipment and troops, but it can now be confirmed that all U.S. bombers deployed at the Royal Air Force Fairford base in the UK have been redeployed to bases in the U.S. mainland. Furthermore, they stated that U.S. bombers remain ready to launch strikes from the mainland at any time, while the Department of War declined to comment. Then, unnamed U.S. officials said that this withdrawal occurred following the emergence of an unspecified new threat, and that this was a real-world event—not just intelligence, but actual signs or an attempted incident that was already observed. Wasn't that the attempted terrorist attack at RAF Fairford? Isn't that right? Moreover, officials noted that withdrawing them back to the mainland rather than transferring them to other bases in the UK or adjacent regions is an unusual move! In addition, explicit statements from U.S. officials indicated that the decision was made following the incident at Fairford. In fact, intelligence indicating a potential terrorist plot at RAF Fairford had already emerged three weeks ago. Just think about it, that was around late September, right? Around late September, say September 20-something, the 25th, 26th, or 27th, that's when it surfaced, correct? Three weeks ago means, didn't Trump say? Before the incident happened, the U.S. already knew about it and was monitoring the situation. And the reason the bombers were only transferred back in the past few days is because over the past 24 hours, or within 48 hours, the situation suddenly became urgent, right? So you see, it is clearly stated here that all six individuals, including the British-Iranian dual nationals, have been released on bail, right? Therefore, U.S. officials mentioned here that this involves the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps recruiting British citizens to carry out this plot, which involved multiple steps, including creating disturbances in communities near the base to divert attention. That means there would be accompanying riots and other terrorist attacks, so for local residents to remain vigilant is also a form of self-preservation, isn't it? Hey, this is all part of a series; it is definitely not just this single incident, nor is it as simple as past suicide attacks. It was organized, with forces behind it, right? Which foreign actor was it really? Neither Rubio nor Trump on the U.S. side explicitly named Iran as that foreign actor, right? And with Iran now in such disarray, if this foreign actor isn't Britain either, what could it be? Right? Just from the descriptions of this incident, you can see more and more of the shadow of the Chinese Communist Party emerging, right? And then look at what kind of force could reduce Britain to a state where the U.S. doesn't even dare to keep its bombers stationed there. As we discussed with you before, if something happened to this base and those bombers couldn't be used, deploying new bombers all the way from the U.S. mainland—for instance, regarding the situation in the Middle East and NATO peace—would be extremely time-consuming and labor-intensive. Now look, the terrorist attack didn't happen, but the U.S. would rather fly the bombers back, right? It would rather go through the time-consuming and labor-intensive effort of striking Iran or maintaining NATO order, which lets you know that the military significance conveyed by this event is absolute far beyond simply switching to another base, right?
Look, the U.S. is currently in a state of complete distrust toward the U.K.! Whether it concerns the protection of critical U.S. strategic assets, the handling of counter-terrorism, or the infiltration of foreign agents and terrorists, it is very rare. And this is out in the open for everyone to see; you can't even imagine how tense things are behind the scenes, right? So, you see, the withdrawal of these bombers is confirmed, and you know that in places we cannot see, it only indicates that the conflict is deepening. This risk assessment suggests that because the U.K. failed to handle this terrorist attack in a timely and effective manner, it is highly likely that there will be a second, and then a third time. Today, there is news—I took a look just before coming on the show—saying that what is even more terrifying is the hijacker. Didn't we say yesterday that he had already confessed? He originally intended to crash into Israel's largest international airport, Ben Gurion Airport; that was his best choice, his optimal target. And didn't we say yesterday that it seems if that didn't work, he would just crash the plane and kill everyone, hitting wherever he could—that must have been his backup plan. Actually, you might not know that it might not be at all like what we thought! It wasn't just a case of 'if all else fails, crash the plane and kill everyone' to create a far-reaching international terrorist impact. No. Remember? I told you yesterday that the location where the hijacking occurred was just about to enter Jordanian airspace from Saudi Arabia, and then from there enter Israel—or rather, Jordan. We don't know if he was passing through Jordanian airspace or just grazing the edge, but it was near the area bordering Jordanian airspace, or some reports say he had actually grazed Jordanian airspace. New information came out today; fortunately, the hijacker didn't die! From what has been obtained from his mouth now—I don't know how their intelligence officers are so capable of prying so much information out of this hijacker—the hijacker's backup plan at the time was, if he couldn't hit the Israeli airport, he would hit the U.S. military base in Jordan. I wonder if it was the same base where three U.S. soldiers were killed in July after the CCP provided satellite intelligence? I will have to go back and verify that in the next show. This matter has already been exposed by Israel, reported by official television stations and others, so it is very likely that his rapid descent was because he realized, 'Oh, this has become a big deal, I might not be able to fly to the international airport, I can't sneak into Israel, right?' Because the 7500 hijacking code had already been issued, he probably had a backup plan in mind, which was the U.S. military base in Jordan, the joint base in Jordan. My god, let me tell you, this is absolutely not as simple as a lone-wolf terrorist making a decision on his own. Why is he always targeting the U.S. military base in Jordan? Why does he like that U.S. military base in Jordan so much? Is it because he obtained intelligence from the CCP last time, so he is exceptionally familiar with that U.S. military base in Jordan, and thus planned to strike there again this time? I tell you, this absolutely needs to be dug deeper and further! Ah, this terrorist is truly terrifying, isn't he?
So speaking of this, you see why the United States, seeing what the UK is doing now, in the end... well, other things aside, let's pull our own bombers back first. How could you possibly know how many backup plans these terrorists—who have all been released into the vast sea of humanity—still have? Do you think they only had those three vehicles? Ah, and now needless to say, the UK side hasn't even squeezed anything out of them about who is really behind this, or how they pulled it off? Look, their incident happened around September 26 or 27, and the incident with the hijacking in Israel linked to the UK was on September 30. All the terrorists are still alive, and there are even more of these terrorists in the UK. As a result, look at the UAE now; uh, the terrorists being interrogated—mainly by the UAE, I suppose—have already confessed this much, while on the UK side, you know nothing at all except constantly hearing that someone was released without bail again, released without bail again, right? So you can't blame the US now. This is truly untrustworthy, even though the UK is an ally, right? Therefore, although the US won't say out loud that our alliance is broken, flying our planes away is a very strong signal, right? Well, just recently, didn't MI5 issue a report sounding the alarm—this alarm that America's political, university, and commercial elite networks have long been influenced and infiltrated by the the Chinese Communist Party's intelligence activities? But nothing ever came of it. The UK government, at most, just faces the issue with a shrug: 'Ah, yeah, we can't do anything about it; we are very open; ah, we currently have no way to fall out with the the Chinese Communist Party,' right? That's just how it is. So when the US looks at it, instead of keeping my bombers at a UK base, I might as well put them back in my own pocket. When the time comes, well, do some mid-air refueling and spend a bit more flight time, otherwise these bombers would always be sitting ducks there, wouldn't they? Trump could never take a risk on a matter like this. If a terrorist attack suddenly succeeds next time, the first thing people won't do is blame the UK for poor prevention; instead, even the BBC, Reuters, CNN, and the New York Times will all together curse Trump, saying, 'The last terrorist attack failed, yet you still left those bombers sitting there? Did you deliberately put them there to make the US military suffer losses?' Absolutely! So now, I'm just briefly explaining this matter to everyone.
Well, speaking of this, let's look at today's main event. This first main event is about the affair of Zhang Wanying. Zhang Wanying, who has a background in international relations—ah, I remember, wasn't Fangfang also a graduate of the University of International Relations? I seem to remember someone saying that before; Hu Xijin said Fangfang was a top student. This is currently being exposed online. Zhang Wanying and her husband—now, whether this husband is a real husband or a fake husband, anyway, it could be one of those underground couple setups from the movies, right? You never know. This husband of Zhang Wanying is named Eric Ding. According to public identity, looking at the photos they released themselves earlier, right? His public identity is also a California real estate agent, right? This guy named Eric Ding graduated from the University of California, Irvine? And now, people online are digging into the fact that the area where this couple is active... because we aren't familiar with California place names, they sound like different locations, but actually, the place where he is active in Southern California—no, Northern California—Arcadia, is the exact same city where we previously told you about the arrest of that the the Chinese Communist Party spy, Mayor Wang Ailin. It's also the very same place that was just exposed a few days ago regarding someone who smuggled controlled chips and equipment—specifically NVIDIA chips that are forbidden to be sent to the the Chinese Communist Party's country—transported through all sorts of transshipments and wash-waters via sea freight to the the Chinese Communist Party's country, amounting to 300 million dollars worth of equipment. This person was arrested just a few days ago. What's their name? Let me check. This person... I think Nuomi Tuan and the others translated the Department of Justice announcement about this person, and I'll share it with everyone. It was previously said that he ran a hot pot restaurant, and a Chinese-American man in California was said by the FBI to have smuggled advanced, restricted servers used for superintelligence to the the Chinese Communist Party's country.
What was this person's name again? Let's see, this person is nominally the head of a tech company in the San Gabriel Valley, and was indicted on three charges a few days ago on October 1st. The area where he was active is San Gabriel—right, this person's name is Greg Lü, and he even changed his name's pinyin representation, didn't he? It looks almost as if it's completely different from mainland pinyin. In reality, he is an ethnic Chinese person also known as Lü Yaoguang. This person led a luxurious lifestyle, owning a 4,300-square-foot luxury home locally with nine bedrooms and seven bathrooms. His family members are all agents, let me tell you. And previously, he ran a Sichuan restaurant in Arcadia—also that same area, the San Gabriel Valley, Arcadia, and Irvine areas are all pretty much the same. There used to be a Chinese hot pot and dry pot restaurant called Dillpot that served things like bullfrogs, and after running it until it closed in 2021, he made a grand transition to start some tech company, and then started smuggling things like, ah, NVIDIA and other restricted IT products, right? So this person Wang Ailin, and Zhang Wanying—who was arrested yesterday for conducting surveillance and stalking against the son of Ai Qingde—were active in the same region. Obviously, online and in the U.S., people are asking: Is this really just a matter of geographical proximity? Or has that whole area—whether it's Irvine, Arcadia, or the San Gabriel Valley—already become a major base for the Chinese Communist Party's agents? Just think, right down to the mayors who are part of it, not to mention local Chinese community associations, which have been deeply cultivated. Ah, here are more photos of Zhang Wanying, perhaps this one is from when she was younger, right? Look, including this analysis of her real estate in Los Angeles, whether she bought a new home or a second-hand home? Zhang Wanying, let me tell you, right here, this is her educational background—previously at the Foreign Affairs College, then she studied at USC, and then she stayed in the United States, changing her status and everything.
Well, let's take a look. I went and read Zhang Wanying's indictment; the indictment is around thirty pages long if I remember correctly, and there are so many details in it. Come on, let me walk you through it point by point. First of all, did anyone notice a major point in the indictment? That is what it says about the son of Ai Qingde being surveilled and stalked—that happened a year ago. So you might say, if Zhang Wanying did this a year ago, didn't she do anything else between then and her arrest before? And if she did other things, why doesn't the indictment specifically talk about those things? Moreover, look, in Zhang Wanying's indictment, she is currently actually accused of one charge: acting as an undeclared agent of the Chinese Communist Party's country. And if convicted, she faces a maximum sentence of ten years. Hey, do you think that the things she did only warrant a ten-year prison sentence, and then after getting out, she can swaggeringly regain her freedom?
So this indictment—and as we explained to you on the Old Society program yesterday, it is actually an affidavit by an FBI agent. So what is a characteristic of this? Well, this affidavit and indictment states right at the very beginning that it does not list all the evidence, but only puts forward the most important evidence that can explain the current charge she is being indicted for. Just as we told you, the U.S. wants to put out this narrative to prove that the charge is valid, that she can be arrested and indicted, right? And then the rest has actually been implied—meaning that in the future, more evidence and more indictment charges might continuously be added on. Just like when Guo Wengui was just arrested, they didn't mention recall right away either; those were all added later. Look, let's take everyone through all of this from start to finish. She is currently 34 years old, arrested on October 4th, and before her arrest, she was preparing to fly from Los Angeles Airport to Shanghai. Well, she has an English name, Haser, which doesn't really matter. In the indictment here, it first states—because the indictment has to first explain who this person is—that investigators had previously identified an address registered by her in Irvine, and then she sold that house on June 11th of this year. The indictment states that according to the DMV (the U.S. driver's license system), you are required to promptly update your address for changes and so on, as well as U.S. postal records. And FBI surveillance—see that? She sold her house in Irvine on June 11th and then moved to another residence. Hey, I don't know if that house sale was because her next operations were coming up, so she needed to cash out and run away, right? Anyway, look, the FBI has been watching you all along.
And then, it mentions here that he is a registered real estate agent in Southern California. And he went to Seattle with her; wasn't he executing a surveillance mission in Los Angeles at the time? Ah, no, no, he is from Southern California, not Northern California. I've been saying it wrong; it's Southern California, over here in Los Angeles. The person who was executing the Seattle surveillance mission with him is referred to in this indictment as 'Individual One'. This individual is likely not her husband, because, first of all, there would be no need for her and her husband to meet in Las Vegas and then fly to Seattle, right? Furthermore, this 'Individual One' seems to be someone working in the construction industry here in Los Angeles.
Okay, then the FBI also stated that they have not yet found direct evidence proving that he and this 'Individual One' have a background of working for any Chinese or American law enforcement agencies, nor are they registered as agents or spies. Next, there is a very important piece of background information: it confirms that she attended the University of International Relations in Beijing. We all know that the University of International Relations is a place closely related to the Ministry of State Security (MSS) for training intelligence personnel. The affidavit also knows this, right? It specifically emphasized that it is under the leadership of the state security and operated by high-level state security personnel. It also stated that the University of International Relations has long had close ties with the intelligence system. Moreover, it mentions that many high-level leaders within the University of International Relations—well, not the university itself, but there is a China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) that is also very closely related to the university. And this CICIR itself is led by the Ministry of State Security and operated by high-level state security personnel, and these two are actually, as you can see, constantly interacting; one is an institute and the other is essentially a university, right? This interactive relationship here—so the Americans aren't stupid either; it's not that easy to just distance yourself from these units, right?
And then? It continues by saying that the first person related to the Chinese side is referred to in the indictment as 'PRC Official One'. This 'Official One' is someone whose WeChat records in iCloud show that Zhang Wanying and this person were classmates at the University of International Relations. They graduated around 2014, and since then, they have maintained communication, offline contact, and so on. Furthermore, there is a photo in the document showing that on October 19, 2024, this 'Official One' sent Zhang a photo of a class reunion. In the background, on the clothes they were wearing, the text read: 'University of International Relations, School of Public Administration, 2014 Graduation 10th Anniversary Reunion.' And this photo includes Zhang Wanying and this 'Official One', which means the U.S. knows who 'Official One' is.
It then says that these two didn't just talk about work on WeChat. For one thing, they also talked about things like their children, investments, the differences in life between China and the U.S., and their private lives, right? This is where the FBI lets you know that these two didn't just meet for the first time; this is a long-term classmate and personal relationship. And when there is something to do, like assigning tasks or carrying out missions, that is the nature of their relationship.
Okay, and there is a very interesting point here: there is a key conversation between her and this 'Official One' in the indictment, dated September 22, 2022. Zhang Wanying greeted this 'Official One' on WeChat, saying: 'Hi, brother, [name deleted], long time no see, how have you been lately?' And then? This 'Official One' is a man, and he said: 'Oh, sister Wan, hello. I'm the same as always. Haven't seen you for several years. Have you not been back to China for a few years either? This weekend we are going to have a gathering with Teacher So-and-so.' See that? They probably had little contact before 2022, but by the time of the 10th-anniversary reunion in 2024, they had already reconnected during those two years in between.
Then Zhang Wanying said: 'Oh, yeah, the last time we met was in 2019 when I returned to China; it's already been three years. Damn COVID. Please give my regards to Teacher So-and-so. I haven't seen the teacher since I graduated and left China.' So they met in 2019, didn't have contact for three years, reconnected in 2022, right? And then it's very clear that they attended the reunion together in 2024.
And here is a very important sentence. Zhang Wanying asked this guy: "How is your work? Hey, which bureau in the Ministry are you in again?" Any Chinese person hearing this understands it immediately, right? There is no need to explain; it is very clear that he is in a Ministry. So, which Ministry is it? Probably the Ministry of State Security (MSS), right? Ah, which bureau in the Ministry? Which bureau under the MSS? Are you still working in that bureau now? Ah, I can't remember which Ministry and which bureau you were in before, right? Look, then this Official One said to her—everyone needs to be clear about this Official One, he is a different person from the one we mentioned earlier who flew to Las Vegas and then to Seattle to carry out a mission. This Official One has always been in China, which is good. Official One said, "Okay, I'll pass on your regards. Work is the same as usual; I haven't changed jobs yet." This means, "When you return to China, we will go see you and the kids; life is quite exciting."
Then, the FBI specifically explained in this document that when they say "which bureau in the Ministry" in Chinese, they believe it refers to either the Ministry of State Security, the Ministry of Public Security, or possibly the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They feel these ministries are the most likely. Of course, other ministries are not excluded, right? Furthermore, the FBI specifically explained this to ensure that the judge and jury would understand the meaning of this Chinese way of greeting, stating that this way of greeting by Zhang Wanying shows that she already knew the other party had a Chinese government identity in a certain bureau of a certain Ministry; it was not the first time she knew, and the other party did not want to answer directly on WeChat.
Okay, then it says here, look, in 2024, didn't she attend a class reunion? There are photos as proof. In January 2025, judging by her photos and travel records, around January 25th, Zhang Wanying returned to China and met with this Official One in person. This was the meeting where she was assigned the task of looking up the address of Mike Chen's son, according to the FBI. Okay, after meeting on March 3, 2025.
On this day, Zhang Wanying took the initiative to send a message to this Official One, saying: "Hey brother, I'm returning to China at the end of this month." Zhang Wanying returns to China very frequently, do you see that? So I say, some of our Chinese-speaking viewers might say, "Oh, some neighbors or friends I know, contacts on WeChat, are in the US, especially in California or New York, and they return to China frequently. How are these people so rich that they don't worry about the cost of round-trip airfare?" So let me tell you, many—we can't say all, but many of these people who return frequently are not just doing business; they are going back to receive tasks, accept assignments, and handle these matters in person. Do you understand now? That's why these people return so frequently, doing things, otherwise why are they always getting caught at the airport? Right? Look, this is also very obvious, how frequently she goes back, saying this.
On March 3rd, she said, "I'm returning to China at the end of the month, back to Beijing, let's organize a small gathering, haha." It seems like old friends catching up, and then the conversation suddenly shifts, saying, "The address you mentioned last time, I only remember, it should be the house number, and this part is blacked out," saying, "I forgot the street name behind it, is it such-and-such street?" Then, Official One said, "Thank you for remembering that matter, we have already figured it out, no need to trouble you, let's gather when you return to Beijing."
Here, the FBI stated that because she didn't state the address, the FBI believes this might not be the address of Mike Chen's son; this refers to another address in Irvine. What is going on? It says there should be someone in Irvine who is openly anti-CCP, currently, it's unknown who it is, and it wasn't specified. It is also an elected official from Taiwan, likely an anti-CCP council member, or some government staffer you are against. There is an address in Irvine, and what is this about? It should be in January, according to the FBI's inference, when Zhang Wanying returned to China, that guy mentioned, "Hey, go check this address in Irvine, who is it?" Then, in March, Zhang Wanying's intention was to tell him, "Hey, this address, I'll confirm it with you again, is it this address?" Meaning I can go do something, and I'm returning to Beijing soon, we can go again. At this time, the guy said, "Don't trouble yourself with that matter, someone else has already done it, we have already figured it out."
Do you see it now? Regarding Zhang Wanying, first, she is not the only one who took the job involving Ai Qingde's son. Second, when these spies communicate, what do they do? Sometimes a task is basically assigned to many people to work on simultaneously, unless it is specifically designated. For instance, the matter of checking the Irvine address of another Taiwanese elected official—that was already being handled by others, right? Regardless of which department they are from, it was already being done, so there was no need to bother her. Furthermore, they are all well aware of this, right? This conversation ends here. And you say that they are stalking people from Taiwan in the U.S. on behalf of the CCP? This is not an isolated incident; it's not like Ai Qingde's son is the only one being targeted. The CCP is rampant, you see? Keep watching, here is a detail that other media outlets basically haven't mentioned.
Alright, then? Here, the FBI specifically provided an interpretation, stating that according to the FBI's experience, the intelligence agencies of the CCP usually wait for these operatives to return to China to give a face-to-face briefing on what they need to do in the U.S. or elsewhere, because they want to ensure the U.S. cannot obtain evidence. The FBI mentioned this, and actually, let me tell you, why is an affidavit used here instead of directly presenting evidence? And why only release the most basic evidence? This tells you that a considerable portion is actually something the FBI can legally access using the U.S. NSA's wiretapping and surveillance; technically, that is not a problem at all. It is just that you cannot casually use the content from NSA wiretapping and surveillance as judicial evidence, so the FBI's affidavit has to specifically provide this interpretation for the jury later on, otherwise, the Americans won't understand it; they won't know what these conversations actually mean. Alright, so now, the FBI explains in it, saying, hey.
It is already believed that Zhang Wanying participated in the aforementioned task of tracking another elected official, but she was not the lead. The one she primarily worked on that led to her arrest was the Seattle incident. That incident occurred on June 9th, last year, when Official No. 1 sent her a message saying there was another senior brother from the state security department who wanted to meet her, but he was in Hangzhou, from the Zhejiang bureau—see that? It is highly likely the Zhejiang state security—saying if it is convenient for you, I will push your WeChat to him.
Then Zhang Wanying said okay, and even included a smiley face. Then, the next day, someone proactively added her. The FBI said this state security senior brother from Hangzhou is called CCP Official No. 2. Alright, No. 2 added Zhang Wanying on June 10th, and then started by saying hello, junior sister, I am so-and-so, I was introduced by No. 1. Hey, Zhang Wanying said hello, senior brother. The FBI specifically explained that senior brother does not mean they are biological siblings or relatives; it refers to alumni, they specifically explained that.
Then, by June 16th, after the two had exchanged pleasantries, right, having known each other for six days, the other party began to cut to the task, saying junior sister, when are you going to the U.S.? I want to find a time to meet you. Then Zhang Wanying said, I haven't confirmed when I am returning to the U.S., probably next month. Alright, if there is a chance, let's meet in Hangzhou.
In other words, Zhang Wanying was staying in China during that period, and you don't even know how many tasks she took on, right? She is a person selling houses in the U.S., yet she is in China every other day, and look, she takes a task as soon as one comes up. It is very clear that selling houses is a cover, a means to make money, but in reality, executing tasks is the true purpose, right? Returning for so long, returning in January, returning in March, and who knows if she stayed from March until June or what happened, anyway, her plane tickets were like flowing water. And then, this Zhang Wanying said when there is a chance let's meet in Hangzhou, and the key is that this Official No. 2 also said to her, okay, welcome, I just happen to want to ask you about a house in the U.S. Zhang Wanying said okay, you can ask me any questions you have. No. 2 said.
Well, thank you. Hey, did you guys notice? When these special agents are doing official business, they never forget to take the opportunity to make money, and they never forget to prepare an escape route for themselves. Look, as I told everyone, Number One told the FBI that there were chats involving a lot of private investments. So it is very obvious that Number One was also thinking about when he could flee to the United States, arrange for his wife and children to go there, or see if he could make some investments, even using the pretext of this mission in the United States, using public funds to invest in some houses, and then making a profit from the middle—they are all calculating this. So in the contacts between Wanying Zhang and them, there is both the public and the private. Then, Number Two, look, is also doing the same; not only arranging tasks, but also asking about the house here. It can ostensibly be said that it is a house bought for the government, the Chinese Communist Party government, but in fact, the people handling it inside take all kinds of kickbacks, everything is possible. So the US FBI specifically exposed these things too, and as you said long ago, intermediaries, real estate agencies and the like are many, many, especially those who do exceptionally well. Take Wanying Zhang, whose annual transaction volume was among the top three in the entire California or Los Angeles area—how did she do so well? Isn't it because of all kinds of connections piled up behind the scenes, including many things that helped the Party provide cover abroad, all covered up by her real estate transactions? Those houses bought next to air force bases, next to naval bases, next to government agencies, and so on, making money at every level. So there are so many special agents in real estate agencies. Didn't Colonel Sailin and us jointly expose that major General Staff special agent Tao Huang in Hawaii back in 2021, who also used to do real estate in New York? And there are others in California. Well, then there are many things in here. Oh, I'm telling you, I really worry that after talking about this, we might not have time today to talk much about the plague. No worries, let's talk about this first.
And then? June 16, hey, this point is very interesting, these special agents do not trust each other that much. Look, after Number One introduced Number Two special agent to Wanying Zhang, Number Two wanted to ask him to come to Hangzhou to meet, and furthermore, wanted to ask him about the house in the States. Therefore, Wanying Zhang was chatting with Number Two here, and immediately went to find Number One and asked: Brother, that senior who added me last time, do we know each other? After adding me, he neither told me what his name was—oh, it turns out Wanying Zhang only knew at that time that this was a senior, without knowing the senior's real name.
Nor did he tell me which department he was from, so I came to ask you. Oh, it's rare to see special agents probing each other for information. Official Number One said: He is in international politics, you probably didn't know him before. Zhang said okay. Then, wasn't Wanying Zhang from the 2010 cohort? Then Official Number One told her that that senior was from the 2008 cohort.
Then Number One asked her: Have you returned to China? Zhang said, um, I am in Shanghai. Number One said: Let me know when you come to Beijing, that senior's name is such and such. Hey, so the name of this 2008-cohort senior was told to Wanying Zhang, and Wanying Zhang was relieved. As for which department or whatever, the fact that the FBI didn't release it doesn't mean the FBI didn't know, but obviously, which department it was is probably quite sensitive and was probably not told to her on WeChat.
Well, then, it gets to June 27, when Official Number Two asked her: Junior sister, do you have time to grab a meal together next week? Zhang said: But I am in Changsha. Then Number Two said: We are going to Changsha, are you free next Monday night or Wednesday night? Wanying Zhang said: Are you guys coming to Changsha for fun? The senior said: You could say that, actually it was a trip specifically to go see Wanying Zhang. So Wanying Zhang said Monday is possible. Then the other party said: Oh, is Wednesday okay? I checked, there are no tickets for Monday. Zhang said: Let me check. Then, hey, the other party said again: I said junior sister, the train to Changsha for next Monday night at 6 has already been booked, see you then.
Ah, so actually this obviously wasn't a matter of whether there were tickets or not. For example, maybe the time he wanted on Monday was just a time slot without tickets. Secondly, tickets or no tickets, if the state security wants to go somewhere, clearing out a few empty seats on the train, I think that's all doable. Just like how their trains would normally reserve a few tickets specifically for their own people and so on, so they could get on the train without prior notice.
Therefore, in reality, the other party was in a rush to go see Wanying Zhang, so he rushed to go on Monday to fit Wanying Zhang's suitable time. And the FBI specifically mentioned that Hangzhou to Changsha, depending on the train, takes anywhere from over three hours to more than five hours for different trips, showing that going specifically to see her was without sparing any effort. And continuing from here, saying: Oh, Satoshi has arrived, let's say hello to Satoshi, and Antonio Zeng, well, let's take a look first.
You guys chat first, and we'll talk about this indictment first. Well, when it got to June 30, which should be the time of the meeting, Wanying Zhang asked: Senior, how many of you are there in total? Official Number Two said: There are two of us. And then said: Junior sister, which private room?
Zhang just sent a voice message saying, "When I made the reservation, there were no smaller rooms left for the three of us, so I booked a ten-person private room. You can ask them how they arranged it." It was unknown which restaurant it was. So a total of three people went to a ten-person private room. Then the FBI stated in this affidavit that, based on experience, intelligence agencies such as state security (MSS) usually operate in pairs when conducting meetings, mutually supervising and testifying for each other, right? Therefore, in the FBI's view, three people meeting together and using a ten-person private space is also a very normal practice.
Well, and then there was the dinner in Changsha. After the Changsha dinner, on July 7, Senior Brother No. 2 asked, "Wanying, have you decided when you are coming to Hangzhou?" Zhang sent a voice message saying, "Senior Brother, I can't go this time. I have things to deal with in the US, and I have to fly back to the US today." No. 2 said, "Oh, so sudden? I was waiting for you to come to Hangzhou to meet. Since you have things over there, never mind, it's okay. After you return to the US, let's talk on WeChat again about that matter from last time. I'll still have to trouble you then. I originally planned to give you some guarantees during this meeting." Look at that, the word used is very interesting.
Zhang said, "No problem, let's contact on WeChat. I might return to China in August, next month, and we'll see. If I have time, I can handle this matter. If there's no chance, I'll still come back in August." No. 2 said okay and sent a handshake emoji. Look at that, this Zhang Wanying flew back and forth in January, March, June, and August, working so hard, right? And look at this, so No. 2 said to her, "We want to talk to you about something regarding an American house." Another interpretation is that this might actually be used to refer to the American house mentioned during their meeting in Changsha where the surveillance on the son of Aiqinde was arranged.
Ah, so both are possible. Then, at the same time, specifically mentioning giving her some guarantees is very interesting. What guarantees? It is possible that the FBI also believes this might not necessarily refer to money, but could possibly mean providing someone to cooperate with you, or when you arrive in the US, if something comes up, we have some undercover agents here, who is who, and you can contact them at that time for coordination, etc. There is this possibility. In short, it revolved around the surveillance mission targeting the son of Aiqinde, which is what they had been talking about several times. Alright.
Then the time suddenly jumped to August 8. It was said that starting from the end of July, Official No. 2 and Zhang had been discussing meeting in August. On August 8, Zhang Wanying told Official No. 2 that she would probably go to Hangzhou in mid-August. The other party said, "Let me know once the date is confirmed." By August 17, No. 2 asked her if she had confirmed the time yet. Zhang replied, "I have already arrived in Shanghai. I will go to Hangzhou in the next couple of days, is that okay?" Then the other party sent her the address of a hotel, which should be that Marriott hotel. How should Marriott be translated? That's the one.
It's that chain hotel, an address of an American chain hotel. He said, "Junior Sister, the hotel for Thursday night has already been booked for you." Moreover, very interestingly, it was specifically mentioned here that after Official No. 2 booked the Hangzhou hotel address for her, Zhang Wanying immediately forwarded the complete hotel address that very day to Person No. 1 in Las Vegas whom we mentioned earlier. Judging from WeChat and the call contents, at that time Person No. 1 was also in China, meaning they should have gone together to meet with the state security or state security police (Guobao) in Hangzhou.
Well, on August 17, Zhang Wanying also specifically sent a message to her college classmate, Official No. 1, saying, "Brother, I'm back in China and currently in Shanghai. The senior brother mentioned that matter to me last time and asked me to go to Hangzhou when I have time. I will go over to report to you in the next two days." Then Official No. 1 said, "Alright, just communicate with whatever senior brother; I don't know the specific work details too well, just do what you can. How many days are you staying this time? And then you're going back to the US?"
Then Zhang sent him a voice message saying, "Yes, he came to see me in Changsha last time and roughly explained it to me. He originally wanted me to go to Hangzhou, but something suddenly came up in the US, so I went back first. Therefore, I told him I would be back soon, and this time when I came back I notified him, and he asked me to go to Hangzhou. I happen to be in Shanghai, so going to Hangzhou is convenient." See? These people, actually, theoretically, No. 1 and No. 2 have a lot of intersection in their work, so No. 2's specific task for Zhang Wanying was inconvenient for No. 1 to know in detail, because they each executed different tasks. But look, Zhang Wanying trusts No. 1 much more; it should be from before—oh, right, Marriott, Marriott is the Marriott hotel, correct.
Okay, so the relationship between Individual One and Zhang Wanying, given that they are classmates or perhaps share organizational ties, is likely quite close. That is why Zhang Wanying doesn't fully trust Individual Two and still needs to report back to Individual One; it's quite interesting. Basically, if you look at it, the task chain is already very clear, right? Alright, let's continue. It's August 26th—suddenly we're at August 26th, which is after he went to Hangzhou to meet that senior fellow apprentice.
What happened in between? The FBI didn't list it. On August 26th, Zhang Wanying sent a message to that senior, saying, "Senior, I'm about to land in Los Angeles. I'll be busy with work in LA this week, and I'll probably go to Seattle next week." Individual Two replied, "Okay, thank you for your hard work." It's very clear that after Zhang Wanying discussed and finalized things in Hangzhou and returned to Los Angeles, she planned to go to Seattle the following week to track the son of Ai Qingde. So I suspect she and that Individual One... why did they meet in Las Vegas? Because that person was likely in or near Las Vegas. But perhaps to avoid suspicion, they returned to the U.S. separately. So after the two returned to the U.S. separately and reunited, they then went to Seattle; this makes it easier to cover their tracks, right? Okay.
On September 1st, Zhang Wanying sent a message to the official, Individual Two. Zhang Wanying said, "Ha, I'm boarding the plane to Seattle now," and even sent a photo of a boarding pass, which looks like it was taken at the airport boarding bridge. It's very clear that for this assigned task, her direct superior should be the official, Individual Two.
Then, the FBI obtained airline records and confirmed that on September 1st, Zhang Wanying and Individual One traveled together on Alaska Airlines flight 629, arriving directly in Seattle. The two had the same booking record, ticket purchase record, and the tickets were paid for using a credit card under Zhang Wanying's name.
Alright, and the indictment specifically mentions that they actually... look, on August 29th, Zhang Wanying arrived in Las Vegas. On September 1st, she had been in Las Vegas for two or three days. After going from Las Vegas to Seattle on September 1st and completing the task on September 2nd, she immediately returned to Los Angeles from Seattle.
The FBI specifically noted here that this is very obvious—traveling through so many different airports, right? And booking tickets at the last minute, renting a car locally for a short time, and look, returning quickly after going to Seattle; these are common anti-surveillance techniques. In other words, this Zhang Wanying and her accomplice have a strong background in counter-intelligence and anti-surveillance training; she knows very well how to do these things.
Alright, then the car rental records show that on the afternoon of September 1st at 2:00 PM, she and Individual One rented a black Nissan SUV at Seattle airport, and it was registered under that person's name, that is, Individual One's name, using Individual One's phone number, credit card, and an Arcadia address. Oh, right, this Individual One also has an address in Arcadia. Ah, it means that even though these two could have taken a train together from California, they didn't; they acted separately, and they used their own different identities to buy tickets and rent cars. You see, this anti-surveillance game is played very skillfully.
It says the FBI specifically included a surveillance image in the indictment, which is a surveillance video of Zhang Wanying and Individual One renting a car at the airport counter together. In other words, one of you was responsible for buying tickets and the other for renting the car, but we have all the evidence here; you two were together, don't try to quibble.
Alright, around 4:50 PM, they drove to the vicinity of Ai Tingyu's residence. Then, the neighbor's security camera showed that around 4:50 PM, these two drove the rented car to the vicinity of Ai Tingyu's residence and parked there to wait. Ah, this is a very typical surveillance technique—the kind in movies where the car is parked on the side, tracking and monitoring. Alright, the surveillance shows that around 6:00 PM, Ai Tingyu returned home first, and afterwards, his wife and children, presumably, also returned home one after another.
Afterwards, ah, it says there is a very detailed description here. It says Zhang Wanying and Individual One were originally waiting in the black SUV, right? Seeing Ai Tingyu appear, they quickly sat up straight, picked up a recording device that looked like a mobile phone, and then raised this phone-like device to take pictures. And the FBI said these two were taking pictures or recording video. Wow, I have to say, the neighbor's camera is high-definition enough; it captured the car and the people inside perfectly, sitting up straight like a carp leaping, getting energized, right? And the photos were taken clearly.
Well, then it says, anyway, the neighbor's security camera looks quite high-end, doesn't it? It says, because more crucially, the surveillance footage also shows that when Individual One was taking photos, Zhang Wanying specially reclined her car seat backward. The FBI stated that they felt Zhang Wanying purposely lowered her seat to avoid being seen by others. Therefore, this wasn't just sitting in a car with a phone casually; you can't talk your way out of it. This involved waiting outside the target's residence for a long time, sitting up straight and raising the phone the moment the target appeared. While one person was taking photos, the other deliberately lowered their seat to avoid exposure, which perfectly matches what the FBI describes as conducting covert surveillance from inside a vehicle.
Furthermore, there is a very important set of dialogues here. While still outside Aitingyu's residence, Zhang Wanying was communicating with this Number Two official in Hangzhou. Zhang said, "Saw him, young male, just that young one." Number Two said, "Is it convenient to have a voice call?" Zhang said, "I'm recording video." Number Two said, "Okay." Then Zhang recorded the two license plate numbers, which should be those of Aitingyu and his wife, and sent them to that Number Two official. After that, the FBI also stated that they verified these were indeed both cars under Aitingyu's name. Look at how complete the chain of evidence is, right?
Then on the same day, Zhang Wanying also sent the Number Two official a 16-second video shot from Zhang's own phone, showing the house number outside Aitingyu's residence. In the background of the video, Individual One could be heard mentioning, "It's this house." Zhang Wanying said, "Yeah." Upon receiving the video, the Number Two official replied with three arm-raising emojis, which clearly means great job, right?
Wait until 8:42 PM—look, at 6:50 they filmed members of the family going in and out, right? By 8:42 PM, they had returned the car to the airport. In other words, they filmed for roughly that period of time and then immediately rushed back to the airport, because the driving time and distance were only about two hours. Special mention is made here that actually, the car didn't need to be returned in such a hurry; it could have been returned by noon the next day. Therefore, the FBI said this was clearly a short-term mission completed within seven hours to avoid any complications, returning the car immediately.
Afterwards, credit card records showed that Zhang Wanying used her own credit card to pay for the nearby airport Marriott hotel, the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Marriott. Did they stay at a Marriott? Do these operatives get discounts? Well, by the next day, these two flew back together to Los Angeles International Airport and didn't go to Las Vegas after all. This was also paid for using Zhang Wanying's credit card and phone.
Therefore, the FBI special agent specifically noted that this series of behaviors—including booking tickets at the last minute and running to different airports consecutively (when Zhang Wanying went to Las Vegas, she didn't use LAX, but another airport in California)—all these back-and-forth trips using different airports, car rentals lasting only a few hours with quick returns, and conducting surveillance on the target from inside a vehicle, all belong to what the FBI defines as "tradecraft," meaning the standard operational methods used by intelligence agents for counter-surveillance and intelligence gathering. This isn't ordinary behavior; in other words, did she receive professional training during her time in international relations? Hard to say, but she has definitely received training in this regard.
She went back on September 2. It's not over yet. About a week later, around September 8, Zhang sent two WeChat voice messages to the accompanying Individual One. The first sentence was: "You AirDrop those photos to me later." Then she said: "Don't send those Seattle photos through WeChat, and don't send them via SMS; you must AirDrop them to me. I need to send them back. He wants me to send them back today." In other words, Individual One and Zhang Wanying must have been quite close physically.
It's possible it was her husband; we can't rule that out. However, since her husband's background is supposed to be in real estate and construction, I don't know if that overlaps—very interesting. But if it wasn't her husband, it could be one of her other colleagues or something, right? Therefore, here, though if it were her husband, it's also possible, because the two checked into the same hotel room, using your card at one moment and my card the next. If this Individual One was her husband, then these two are definitely a pair of secret agents, giving off that exact vibe of Yu Zecheng and Cuihua from The Pretender, right? The two reportedly have children, as it was mentioned here that they have children, and didn't they also share photos of their kids on WeChat?
So it is very interesting! Why wouldn't I say that this indictment needs to be explained to everyone in detail, right? There are many, many different clues in it. Later on, you might remember that before arresting Mayor Wang Ailin, they first arrested her fiancé, and before the fiancé, they first arrested that secret agent in California named Chen Jun, right? One after another. At the beginning, when Chen Jun was arrested, the indictment did not disclose the names of this fiancé Sun and Wang Ailin. Then Chen Jun pleaded guilty, Sun was arrested, Sun pleaded guilty, and then Wang Ailin was arrested. So it is linked step by step, and it is very interesting.
Well, and look here, using AirDrop is very interesting. These photos could neither be sent via WeChat nor text message, so the FBI said that this was definitely to avoid the possibility of being monitored, right? To evade the detection of law enforcement agencies, they specifically had to use AirDrop. But the problem is, after sending things via AirDrop, wouldn't they still have to transmit them back to China via WeChat? Ah, so this is also very interesting. Anyway, later on the same day, Individual One sent a video to Zhang via WeChat. That is to say, it was best to use AirDrop and not go through WeChat, but some of them were still sent via WeChat. The investigators, meaning the FBI, looked at this video and compared it with surveillance, believing that this was a video shot outside Aitingyu's house—same location, same perspective.
Well, on September 11, the number two official from Hangzhou messaged Zhang Wanying again, saying: "Junior sister, hello, can you also send me the photos of the house? Thank you." Meaning that sending so many was still not enough. Then Zhang immediately messaged Individual One, saying: "Oh right, those photos of that location, the photos with the cars parked at the entrance, send them to me too."
As a result, Individual One replied: "I deleted all of them yesterday," followed by a bunch of crying emojis, saying: "I even deleted the ones in Recently Deleted. I thought they were useless. I managed to keep a few photos of that Chinese person's garage side, though." Zhang sent a voice message saying: "Check if you can recover them from the deleted files; they shouldn't be completely deleted yet, right?" Then this Individual One said: "Those were deleted too, gone, deleted just yesterday." Zhang Wanying said: "Ah, forget it, then let's leave it at that."
The FBI said this was not a casual deletion. They believed that Individual One was in such a rush to delete them, and even cleared the video and photo libraries' recently deleted folders, actually to destroy evidence of monitoring Aitingyu. Ah, keeping them on the phone for even a little less time was better, deleting them thoroughly, you understand? Of course, spies also think Apple phones are secure—that's how it is. So back then, Maduro thought Xi gave him some Huawei or Xiaomi phone and was thrilled to death. CCP secret agents don't even use those garbage phones themselves; Maduro must really be regretting it to his gut right now, don't you think?
And just think, Apple phones are so easily seen by the United States—the chats and contents inside iCloud are retrieved and used as evidence. Just imagine, right now in the CCP's country, AI is being used, thinking they are stirring things up with their own AI. As a result, their own AI boasts so much, only to turn around and directly outsource all these matters to American AI, realistically telling the US what government officials, intelligence personnel, and secret agents in the CCP's country are doing.
That would be so interesting! You have no idea whether the FBI has more evidence showing this. Just think, over this past year, the things Zhang Wanying was doing—whether some number one or number two officials of the CCP received them over there in China, and then had to use AI to do some video analysis, understand the situation in the US, and study how to carry out tasks—then, maybe Moonshot AI, DeepSeek, or Doubao completely outsourced it back to American AI. Just imagine, could that be the case? Isn't it true that AI has already monitored many representative works here? Ah, directly doing surveillance over there, asking AI what to do, and then AI goes to ask the US AI: "Hey, what should I do to finish solving this matter?" I'm telling you, if this is investigated in detail, oh, I feel it will be especially, especially exciting.
Ah, so look at this, now number two is urging him, so Zhang Wanying tells number two: Senior brother, sending a voice message saying senior brother, sorry, ever since sending it that day, I haven't contacted you, you haven't contacted me, so my friend—it looks like it wasn't her husband—my friend deleted all the photos, and continues to say that there were two cars parked at the entrance of the house, flying an American flag, and the house looked very ordinary from the outside. Number two official said, alright, no problem, thank you, junior sister.
And then, the FBI starts to explain why the CCP would want this kind of information. The FBI, fearing that the judge might not fully grasp the situation, explicitly pointed out that the Chinese government has long sought the reunification of Taiwan and has strengthened the use of the PLA and other intelligence agencies to conduct coercive activities that go beyond diplomatic, economic, and security operations. Therefore, the FBI states in the affidavit that if the CCP wishes to gain some form of leverage over the President of Taiwan or high-ranking Taiwanese officials during any future conflict, then the addresses of their close relatives, photos of their homes, and photos of their cars are all valuable. Understand that this is a very conservative statement; it doesn't mention assassination or anything like that. But you also know that the CCP wants more than just leverage; they would love to just kidnap them if they could.
And then, "Will you listen to me or not? If you don't listen, I'll kill the hostage," right? That is the CCP's way of doing things.
Furthermore, the FBI specifically mentioned that although Zhang is a real estate agent and Individual One is in the construction industry, they could not find any reasonable commercial or private explanation for their photography behavior. So, the implication is: don't listen to them when they inevitably claim through their lawyers that they were just looking at houses for business purposes, or that they were scouting locations because someone wanted to list a property, right? The FBI has already blocked that excuse, saying there is no legitimate reason. And if you really were a real estate agent scouting properties, would you go to such lengths? Rushing in and out in seven hours? If you had time, why not go during the day? You could have gone back to look more before returning the car the next day, right? And all these methods you used to evade surveillance, etc.—don't try to fool anyone. So the FBI says this is clearly not normal behavior.
Also, there is another matter here that I haven't seen the media cover much, if at all, which I find very interesting in the indictment. Last October—since she finished the task in September and deleted the photos—around October 10th, there was another task-related exchange between her and Official Two. Official Two asked her: "Junior sister, when is that biggest social media influencer you mentioned last time coming to Shanghai?" Zhang Wanying replied, "Next year."
Official Two then said, "Good, that's still a while away. You will be coming back specifically for this, right?" What does this part show? Do you see it? There is a so-called "biggest social media influencer," and we don't know who it is. The CCP wants to use him for "positive energy" propaganda, which involves recruitment for the CCP's propaganda missions. Just like what we talked about a couple of days ago regarding that sycophantic reporter from Le Monde in France, and that "violent terrorist" second generation who was sentenced, right? Didn't they all start with this kind of contact? You see, Zhang Wanying, this Official Two from the state security/national security apparatus, they are all executing tasks. This shows you how they carry out these cognitive warfare operations, step by step, with evidence.
Alright, it's very clear that after Zhang Wanying cooperated with her first task, the second one began, right? One task leads to another. By October 22nd, another person appeared in Zhang Wanying's circle—Individual Two, not Official Two. On October 22nd, Zhang had a conversation with Individual Two. Zhang said, "Remember you mentioned before that someone wanted to go to China and needed government resources? I have a classmate who works in a ministry. When we were chatting last time, I mentioned it, and it seems their government side is very interested."
Zhang was connecting the information she got from Official Two about the influencer going to China to this Individual Two. Do you see it? So Individual Two sent a voice message saying, "I'm collaborating with a very famous YouTuber early next month, and the collaboration with so-and-so is already set for next year. If their ministry or the government is interested, we can connect the resources, no problem." He also added, "This is the collaboration for next month, the YouTuber with the most Asian fans."
There is a big YouTuber coming in 2026, but that person isn't going until 2026, so around November or December of 2025—it should be November—there is this other YouTuber with the most Asian fans, so they just arranged this one along the way, see? So you see, everything here is linked, step by step. Then, Individual Two also said that this YouTuber is going to China for the first time and will stay for seven days, and that he would take him to the first stop and is still thinking about the content. "If you want others to get involved, you can, I think he would be willing."
Hey, was that the song from last year? Our audience can look it up. That massive campaign last year, running from Beijing to Hong Kong, and also visiting Changsha and many other places—what was that song called? Which month did that Black YouTuber go to China? How many followers does he have? Is this the operation? Because they said he was the most influential and the biggest. And look here, this is how the entire propaganda model was connected.
Then it says, here the FBI specifically explains, saying, they have been talking about this certain ministry, and the people in this ministry, telling you, these are all people within the government system, and they work for the ministries. So, on October 24th, Zhang forwarded the information that Individual Two had given her to, oh right, Jia Kange. Everyone should check, when did Jia Kange go to China? That itinerary, was it in November or this year? I don't remember clearly.
It says Zhang Wanying took that message directly to the second official in Hangzhou, saying that at the beginning of next month, the one collaborating with the Asian YouTuber who has the most followers, and saying the Chinese influencer I mentioned to you last time is collaborating with so-and-so, telling me this influencer is coming next month. The other one is next year, which means this Individual Two is also a Chinese influencer himself; I don't know exactly which one.
And then? It says, look, originally I thought there was only one YouTuber who could bridge the connection, now there can be two. And when sending the message on October 24th, Zhang Wanying was back in China again. She said, 'I am in Shanghai now.' And then, this second official said, 'Good, that's great.' This Zhang Wanying specifically told him that the American influencer going to China in November, the first time going to China, has 130 million followers on YouTube. Hey, our audience friends, let's match the numbers, that Jia Kange.
When exactly did he go to China? Is he the person with 130 million YouTube followers? Because the FBI specifically left this detail in. Ah, I see we have seen it, the spies from Guo's RICO case, right? These spies in the CCP's China are already unable to hold back, wanting to come and attack us, it's really funny, isn't it? Look, we are exposing the spies here, and the CCP is getting anxious! Alright, then this second official said: 'Oh, 130 million YouTube followers, that must be very popular! What is his itinerary in Shanghai? Because the first stop is Shanghai, right?'
This, no, this says the first stop is Shanghai, right, and Zhang Wanying said, 'It's still being arranged,' meaning if you want to know how to arrange it, we can all think about the content together. And then, this official in Hangzhou said, 'Oh,' and Zhang said, 'If you are interested in participating, I can introduce you.' The official said, 'Okay, thank you, junior sister, how long do you plan to stay in China?' Zhang said, 'You can have a preliminary understanding first, and it will be more natural when they come again next year.' And then she said, 'I'll stay for about a month this time, if there's nothing urgent in the US.' The second official said, 'Okay, that's good, plenty of time.'
Oh my, look at how these things are all linked together, right? Basically, this is the main content of the entire FBI indictment, see? So here, as for Individual One, Individual Two, Official One, and Official Two, they are all involved. In other words, even if he doesn't say it, we know the US is monitoring everything. And I also said, they only released one charge to indict her for now, with a maximum of ten years, and we can reasonably infer.
Now that the US has caught her, they are negotiating a plea deal with her. If she cooperates, then it will proceed according to this charge, and it might not even need a ten-year sentence. If she, this spy, insists on not cooperating, just like Guo Wengui, being stubborn, then you will see more indictment content being added. And whether she cooperates or not does not affect the US's subsequent actions. Furthermore, it is highly likely that Zhang Wanying will be difficult to bail out, because it is very clear she was caught while trying to leave the country, so this is a red flag; she has the possibility and risk of fleeing, right? So it is very difficult to grant her bail, understand? Hey, this is very interesting.
Alright, speaking of this, we must, do you remember I told you about someone in a previous program? I said this, a reporter who worked at The New York Times, also worked at the Chinese version of Voice of America, and also wrote articles for Foreign Policy and other magazines, what was it, South China Morning Post, and is also the one from the Chinese version of Deutsche Welle, this person named Tracy Liu Wen, do you all remember? I specifically told you about this little spy, using such a profile picture, very unprofessional. As a reporter, she even claims to be an expert on US-China relations, that's what she says on her own LinkedIn.
Uh, her own description. Alright. What am I showing you this time? I'll show you this Tracy Liu Wen, who couldn't sit still immediately after Zhang Wanying was caught, and took the initiative to come out and start whitewashing herself, saying, 'I have met this Zhang Wanying who was caught by the FBI, the world is too small. She was a roommate of mine at USC from 2014 to 2016 while studying for a Master's degree in Public Administration.' Because this Tracy Liu was also at USC.
He said that my roommate at USC was also pursuing a Master's degree in Public Administration at the same time. If I remember correctly, there were some Chinese girls among the people my roommate had meals and did homework with. When I saw the photos and English names, they looked inexplicably familiar, and then after searching on Douyin, I realized that I very likely really had seen them. Then he also said that my LinkedIn and hers share mutual connections, being USC alumni from the same period. However, although I had seen her in person, we had no interactions.
Could it be such a coincidence? Just seen her? This Zhang Wanying is squarely a secret agent planted in the United States to take root. And then by such a coincidence, you, this Liu Wen, happened to see her. And the work you do is also related to that of the Chinese Communist Party, so all these agent tasks just happen to coincide, right? For example, when Liu Wen was writing articles for The New York Times back then, on April 8, 2020, "Can Wuhan people's experience help us overcome the epidemic in the United States?" Isn't this just Chairman Xi's call? Oh, and then asking Americans to learn anti-epidemic experience from this Chinese Communist country, isn't it? Oh, saying this.
All kinds of positive energy, including what we specifically talked about before, the articles that this Liu Wen wrote for various media outlets are extremely aligned with what the Chinese Communist Party wants. Because Liu Wen himself, after graduating from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and then going to study abroad at USC, during this process he worked at The Paper, and himself he also seems to have this.
He wasn't specifically trained as a journalist; he originally studied accounting or something similar. Well, he also worked at Lenovo, and after that, including all kinds of part-time and full-time jobs, like The New York Times, VOA Chinese, all these have been infiltrated, right? Deutsche Welle Chinese, he has worked at all of them. This guy suddenly pops up now saying he has seen Zhang Wanying, which looks no matter how you view it like.
He is very worried that his interactions with Zhang Wanying will be targeted by the FBI, right? Various things, first trying to whitewash himself. Oh, Jia Kangge went to the Chinese Communist country in March of last year, right? Then it shouldn't be Jia Kangge, it must be someone else. Everyone, check who the major American YouTube influencer with 1.3 trillion views going to China for the first time in November is! So let me tell you.
This Zhang Wanying, the network of people around her—you pull one and a whole string comes out, you pull one and a whole string comes out, a whole bunch comes out. Now the little agents are very, very scared. Well, we still have a little time, great! Let's put this matter aside for a moment, right? Let's go over another very important topic, which is about the Siberian region and Far Eastern region of Russia.
The plague incident—everyone is paying attention to this matter now. Well, let me first tell you what is going on here. That is, near Irkutsk in Russia, in a place called Shelekhov, there is a plague research institute, an anti-plague research institute. In recent days, there have reports claiming that a laboratory accident occurred here. Then, specifically, the details known are very limited, saying it was a 28-year-old laboratory worker—this is currently the known content. A female was involved in a laboratory accident around September 25.
Then reports said she dropped a test tube containing the plague, dropped a test tube or a culture dish. And by September 29, she developed severe pneumonia and was hospitalized. She died in the ICU on October 2. In other words, from initial infection to hospitalization was about four days, and then from hospitalization to death was about three days.
Well, now there are reports saying that she was initially treated as an acute respiratory infection, and then sent to a facility specially designed for treating COVID-19, and only later, because of the rapid deterioration and abnormal clinical manifestations, did they start testing for particularly dangerous pathogens. Later she was put on a ventilator, and then died despite medical treatment.
However, the problem is that some other reports claim that she herself told the doctors right before she died that she had dropped a test tube containing the plague, so there are many contradictory reports. Currently, out there, all public propaganda calls this a plague. Well, I have organized some of the situations we currently know about this matter for everyone. So everyone doesn't need to worry about this yet, no need to be so nervous.
Oh, YXC said, saying Hanson Parker went to China in November 2025. Hey, is Hanson Parker that major influencer who is very close to many of the DSA here in the United States right now, very close to these far-left elections? Ah, should be on Twitter too, right? That Hanson Parker.
That Code Pink or something, and then went to the Chinese Communist country, facing Mao's portrait or whatever, all kinds of this, filled with affection, is that the person? Did I remember correctly? Then I'll tell you, this matter is big, no wonder the indictment only touched upon it lightly and stopped! What the U.S. is currently investigating is the various relationships between the DSA and the Chinese Communist Party, including cognitive warfare and the impact of public opinion warfare. If this is dragged in, hey, this string—hey, no need to worry, they will definitely keep a dead lock on it. The U.S. midterm elections are coming up soon, and if I remember correctly, that Hanson Parker is jumping up and down extremely fiercely right now.
Well, the situation is like this, let's look at it now. First of all, if someone is doing experiments in a laboratory themselves, it is impossible for them not to know what experiment they are doing. If he personally told the doctor about what experiment he was doing and what test tube was broken when the infection happened, under this circumstance, I don't think it would reach a point where for the first few days they didn't know what the infection was. That's impossible. First of all, let's just say that for a pathogen with such a high lethality as plague, once it appears—especially since they are an institution specifically doing plague research—
once this situation appears, it is impossible that he did this experiment, had a laboratory safety issue like breaking a test tube, and then four days later when they went to save him, treatment was still delayed, his condition was misdiagnosed at first, and then in the end he said, "Oh, I used plague materials, maybe I got infected from this." Let me put it this way to everyone: if these are known types of plague, plague is indeed a traditional bacterium that can be used to make biological weapons.
It has some similar manifestations to hemorrhagic fever; there will also be bleeding and fever. But plague is not the hemorrhagic fever we talk about, because hemorrhagic fever mainly refers to those virus-caused diseases related to hemorrhagic symptoms, while plague is just called plague. However, regarding this matter, let's say, first of all, for things done in a laboratory, especially those inhaled through the respiratory tract, according to conventional biological weapons guidelines and the guidelines for hazardous pathogens commonly used over the past decades, everyone knows that once someone inhales a pathogen related to plague, the possibility that it comes from the laboratory must be considered first.
Therefore, if this plague problem occurred, then obviously, because existing biological weapons guidelines and treatment guidelines are already established, and since it came from a laboratory, theoretically speaking, it should be able to receive timely treatment, especially since that research institute is a plague institute famous since the Soviet era. I think under this circumstance, if it were common plague bacteria and he got infected knowing he was doing the experiment himself—even assuming they were doing some engineering or something—it shouldn't reach a point where they could treat it with other methods first, find out the treatment was wrong, let it deteriorate, and only then consider plague. This doesn't make sense, you see? Many details we know now come from the media, and everyone needs to think carefully about how much truth and how much falsehood there is in these media reports.
And then secondly, how is the local authorities handling this now? This is in Russia, because his research institute belongs to the Russian national agency responsible for infectious diseases, called the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing. This bureau currently says it is taking response measures, and the state news agency has also reported on this matter. However, they said that it is currently unclear what specific pathogen was infected; it is generally believed now to be plague, but the strain is presumably unclear, and how it happened is also unclear. So now we say, once a person doing this in the laboratory discovers an accident, at that time—I mean a P3-level laboratory or higher-level laboratory—our rules and regulations, whether in China or Russia, are very strict. You are saying that after this person smashed the test tube, nobody knew, nobody quarantined him, nobody sent him for observation, nobody did anything, and they waited until four days later when this thing happened and they were treating him—this first of all does not make sense. So whether he got infected knowing or not knowing is hard to say.
Secondly, we say, pneumonic plague. Generally speaking, if it infects someone, according to the previously released CDC guidelines, the onset of symptoms should be quite fast. Usually, pneumonic plague infection symptoms might appear within 24 hours of infection, because plague is divided into bubonic plague and pneumonic plague. Pneumonic plague is the kind commonly talked about; usually with pneumonic plague, everyone must first consider a laboratory source, because natural sources are dominated by bubonic plague, and the occurrence of its pulmonary disease is secondary and comes later. On the other hand, pneumonic plague starts right away with pulmonary symptoms as the main feature, and it is transmitted through the respiratory tract, right? Moreover, this mortality rate is—this whole symptom aggravation is faster, and the mortality rate is higher. However, even for pneumonic plague, whether it's the medical staff doing research or the staff treating him, they should already have existing protocols on how to use antibiotics, because plague is a bacterium, and bacteria respond to antibiotics, unless it is something particularly enhanced and currently unknown to us. Because plague itself has a high enough lethality, theoretically further enhancing such a biological weapon is actually disadvantageous to its transmission and so on, right? It's a double-edged sword, but regardless.
For these people, including after an accident in your laboratory, you would immediately need to receive some preventive antibiotic treatment. Then, when you are sent to the hospital, they will also consider giving you these antibiotics first, right? As well as more other isolation measures and so on. So, as of now, if he didn't die from lack of treatment, and after this incident came out, it now makes people feel very suspicious, that is, the local authorities cannot confirm what this pathogen is, and now at least more than 200 people have been quarantined locally. Then, many hospitals are housing these quarantined patients, and as for Russia, you cannot really trust their media; after all, it is a country transitioning from an autocracy, right? It is still an autocracy now, so the current reporting in Russia is also very obviously suppressing some information. All of this makes this matter extremely confusing and mysterious.
Some viewers mentioned that this influencer with 130 million followers should be called, uh, Steaks Twins. But Jia Kang, Hassan Parker, and this Nigerian TikTok influencer planned to take other creators on a four-day business trip to China. And others. The main people here should be those influencers who came from the United States, and it mainly talks about after November, this Hassan Parker going to the CCP-controlled country, he is already very radical, right? And after going to the CCP-controlled country, yes, yes, our viewers are all talking about Hassan Parker's deeds here. I think if it is him, no wonder many things about Zhang Wanying haven't been disclosed yet. Alright, then let's first look at this, pneumonic plague, let me tell you.
It's not about whether pneumonic plague can become, like, a new thing like Covid. The problem now is, once there is pneumonic plague, that is, plague, if it is intentionally released, the most likely scenario is this. Let me show you a page from the CDC. The CDC's guidelines on plague explicitly state that if Yersinia pestis is intentionally released, the most likely outcome is pneumonic plague. And now, the most likely scenario is the death in Russia, leading to the local area starting this kind of quarantine and so on. This is currently the closest to pneumonic plague. Do you see? It's not saying it's certain, but look, there is a plague research institute, there are reports of the death of experimental personnel, and this death is unexplained, and it has led to large-scale local lockdowns and other things. And you must consider the possibility of intentional release. In this situation, it becomes very interesting. Actually, if you dig deep into this institute, it has many interesting aspects. But what is most interesting is what? It is that people online have already discovered that this institute is not just a former Soviet institute for plague research; you have to consider that all these so-called anti-plague things in the former Soviet Union were all dual-use for biological weapons, all part of a large, right? A 'Duo' type of research institute.
Alright, and there are already reports out that the director of this institute, a few weeks before the employee suddenly died of illness, participated in an exercise held in China, simulating how to respond to imported plague and Disease X. And this imported plague and Disease X specifically mentioned that this X is a tick-borne infectious disease. And the background of this director's research is plague and tick-related diseases, etc. Do you see? This exercise was a concrete action to implement the consensus between China and Russia on strengthening border infectious disease joint prevention and control, and to deepen pragmatic cooperation. And on the CCP side, it is very obviously military-civilian fusion, and the Russian side also sent people to participate in emergency command and disposal, etc.
What a coincidence! Before the mudslide in Tibet, Nepal, the CCP had an exercise; before the Covid outbreak, there was an exercise in Wuhan; and before this plague problem in the Far East, China and Russia had another exercise. Alright, then let's look at this, the director himself is not an ordinary person either. He has had cooperation with the CCP-controlled country as far back as 2008. This director, this person called V something B here, look, in this cooperation information here, there is this Russia-related research institute. Do you see? The Russian research institute, and who is in here? This is an article published in 2008, and Yang Ruifu is also in it. And Yang Ruifu is the corresponding author, one of the top biological weapons experts in China, one of the top few biological weapons experts for Covid.
Yang Ruifu, Yang Ruifu was actually named in my research report as a new type of biological weapon, an unrestricted biological weapon. His definition—he had already proposed it back then—was precisely this concept, which we call unrestricted biological weapons. And the new biological weapon he wanted was the kind of respiratory infection that can lead to this secondary disaster, right? Moreover, I checked this article, and this specific paper discusses cooperation with Russia, France, India, and others, researching the plague bacterium, plague bacteria, and Yersinia pestis. It specifically states here that the plague strains studied in this experiment included 35 strains from China and 4 strains from Mongolia. Now, the location where this current plague outbreak has occurred is actually, let me show everyone, right in the northwest border region of Russia near Mongolia. Let me show you. This red dot is the exact location where the plague broke out this time. In other words, back in 2008, the collaborative research they conducted involved different strains provided by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from the CCP's country, as well as different strains from Mongolia. Furthermore, the paper that Yang Ruifu and his collaborators published at the time was actually fully funded by the CCP's country. If you look, the funding sources listed inside are all from the CCP's country. Things like the 863 Program, the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars of the CCP's country, and other international science funds from China.
So this is related research led by the CCP's country. We don't have time today to go into the specific details for everyone, so let's leave this suspicious clue right there for now. We won't jump to conclusions either, because we cannot completely rule out whether there were people in Russia intentionally doing something. But we must say, at a time when the US and Russia are jointly countering this and are about to put the CCP on the chopping block—when Putin has already renamed the Power of Siberia 2 pipeline to the Baikal pipeline, and when Putin is going to meet with Trump and Xi together in a trilateral meeting—right at this urgent moment, oh, the Fairford Air Force Base suffered an attempted terrorist attack, and Israel suffered an attempted terrorist attack. Could Russia, therefore, reasonably deduce that the CCP's country might also be stirring up trouble to sabotage the anti-CCP cooperation between Trump and Putin? This makes complete logical sense, right? Well, let's leave it at that for now, and we'll have more later.
