As world leaders gather at the United Nations in a few weeks, I urge them to take these defenders of peace as examples. By investing in sustainable development as well as the health, education, nutrition, and social security of people, by building institutions and systems that people can trust, and by defending the human rights and dignity that everyone should enjoy. By reaffirming the commitment to effective means of peace such as peace, diplomacy, diplomacy, dialogue, negotiation, and peacekeeping, and by immediately ending wars and conflicts. Today, I call on world leaders to stand up and take action, to invest in solutions.
