Zhai Shanyuan: Just How Poor Are the People Under the CCP Rule!

This content starts from Iran discharging oil into the Persian Gulf, arguing that authoritarian regimes such as Iran, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Russia, and North Korea collectively reflect a rogue politics with no bottom line regarding life and ecology. The article then analyzes the lack of heavy weaponry at Russia's Red Sea military parade and Putin's public signals about ending the Russia-Ukraine war, judging that Putin has entered a countdown to stepping down and will become a key domino in the collapse of the CCP's external ally system. The second half turns to China's domestic situation, citing CCTV's apparent inability to afford the broadcasting rights for the 2026 World Cup to illustrate that both the CCP party media and the Chinese market have clearly grown impoverished; it then points out through data on resident savings, real estate wealth, and the Gini coefficient that China's wealth is highly concentrated, leaving the lowest-income citizens trapped in an impoverished structure where they cannot turn their lives around through hard work.

Alright. I'm sorry for being half an hour late today. It was because I temporarily applied to have someone come fix the toilet, my toilet was broken. The benefit of a capitalist country is like this, my toilet had been broken for half a year, three repairmen had come, each time taking over a month from application to arrival, and none of them fixed it. Seeing a chance to fix it today, I quickly got it fixed. If I didn't fix it now, who knows when it would happen. So I'm half an hour late, apologies.

Hello friends, today is Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Welcome everyone to Zhai Shanying's YouTube channel to chat and relax. Helping friends at home fall asleep, and helping friends abroad stay sober.

The world is getting livelier and livelier, with many upsetting things, and also happy things. My prophetic bad mouth has no cure; sometimes it really is quite upsetting.

Regarding my prophetic bad mouth, there is an inaccurate point, which I正好 want to share with everyone.

After the US announced the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, I did a live stream, and old friends should remember. I said at the time that this matter would cause Iran's oil storage system to have no room left, and ultimately if Iran had to halt production, its oil wells would suffer irreversible damage and might not be able to resume production in the future. The key is that I explained all the reasons behind it clearly to everyone.

It's just that at that time, I got one thing wrong. What I said back then was that the possibility of Iran discharging the extracted oil that it couldn't store into the sea just to ensure production wouldn't stop was very small, or even nonexistent. Because this would cause irreversible damage to the entire earth and human ecology.

As everyone knows, oil is lighter than seawater and blocks the exchange between seawater and air. Plankton would be finished, photosynthesis would cease, fish eggs and small fish would also be killed, and creatures like coral would die directly. Large numbers of fish-eating seabirds flying into the sea to hunt for fish would have their feathers contaminated by oil and would also die.

So my judgment on this matter had a flaw. Why? Because I still underestimated the moral bottom line of these rogue partners of the CCP.

Currently, according to international satellite images from May 6 to May 9, Iran has begun discharging oil into the waters of the Persian Gulf. It has now polluted a 45-square-kilometer sea area around Kharg Island, and it is still expanding. Look at that map, the entire area around Kharg Island is covered.

This matter is very terrifying for the Persian Gulf region. Because the marine depth in this place is relatively shallow, water exchange is slow, evaporation is high, and the ocean's self-purification capacity is relatively poor. Therefore, what can be confirmed about this behavior right now is that marine life in this region may experience large-scale deaths, and the resulting ecological damage will take centuries to recover from.

Even more seriously, the seawater desalination plants in surrounding countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain will basically be paralyzed. Because seawater desalination equipment cannot be used as long as it touches oil, it will either voluntarily shut down or passively break down.

Therefore, Iran's behavior has elevated this armed conflict into a regional ecological disaster.

Wars can end, taking a few months or a year or two, but this kind of severe pollution cannot be resolved for centuries.

Logically speaking, after this behavior occurs, all countries purchasing oil from Iran will face huge political pressure. Because it was the financial temptation from these countries that led Iran to cause such a large-scale ecological disaster, since Iran was unwilling to stop oil extraction.

If this happened in a democratic country, and that country cooperated with Iran to transport oil, the government would probably step down. But unfortunately, the CCP's country will not. The CCP's country does not care about these things. The Chinese Communist Party doesn't even care when it kills tens of millions of its own citizens; right now, the country's environmental pollution and food safety are so poor and it doesn't care either. So this matter in Iran will only bring terrible misfortune to the countries surrounding the Persian Gulf, while the CCP's country will not feel a shred of guilt.

There's no help for it, countries like the CCP's country, Russia, North Korea, and Iran are all countries with the lowest moral bottom lines in the entire world. As the saying goes, birds of a feather flock together. A rogue political party can only associate with rogue political parties.

Of course, this is exceptionally bad news for us. But there is another piece of news that can be considered good news for those of us born in the CCP's country: Putin's stepping down can now officially be said to have entered a countdown.

Presenting the facts and reasoning, the signals that have appeared are both simple and true.

On May 9, a very strange situation occurred at the military parade in Red Square, Moscow, Russia. The most striking anomaly was the complete absence of heavy weaponry throughout the parade. There were no tanks, armored vehicles, missiles, or the like. Furthermore, before the parade began, Moscow closed its airports and imposed comprehensive restrictions on wireless mobile networks across the city.

What was the reason? As everyone can see from various international websites, it was because Putin feared that Ukraine would bomb the parade, primarily with drones.

The Moscow Red Square parade is Russia's most important national tradition and top-tier political event. It has been maintained since 1945. Think about it—it has been over 80 years. It has now become an iconic national brand for Russia, representing multiple narratives such as anti-fascism, national sacrifice, victory over Europe, saving the world, military might, and national glory. It is the most important revivalist narrative activity through which the ruling party continuously proves to the Russian public that Russia remains a world power, bar none.

Therefore, it is very difficult for Putin to suspend such a parade for any reason. Because no matter what reason he uses to suspend the parade, it could trigger uncontrollable panic among the Russian public. Of course, his political opponents could also use this to incite public sentiment.

What is this similar to? Let's think: if Xi Jinping suddenly announced that the National Day celebrations would not be held in 2026 and all related activities were canceled, would the public in the CCP-ruled country not experience similar uncontrollable panic?

So, the parade cannot be stopped.

However, Russia has no way to resist Ukrainian drone attacks. Russia's existing air defense forces have all been deployed to the national front lines and the most important oil depots, communication hubs, and other critical locations across the country. Even so, facing Ukrainian drone and missile strikes, Russia's existing air defense capabilities are stretched thin, with incidents occurring everywhere.

If air defense forces from other regions were transferred to the vicinity of Moscow to secure this parade, the facilities or areas previously protected by these forces would be left in a vacuum, vulnerable to Ukrainian bombing, with unimaginable consequences. There is no other way.

Therefore, the result this time was that during the parade, all large heavy weapons were nowhere to be seen; only soldiers marched in formations.

Whether it was heavy weapons being destroyed during rehearsals before the parade, or something being blown up by a drone during the live television broadcast of the parade, it would be a super-serious political disaster for Putin and Russia.

Under these circumstances, Putin asked U.S. President Trump to mediate. Ultimately, with Trump's brokering, Zelenskyy agreed to a three-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine from May 9 to 11. In exchange, Putin promised to completely abandon all heavy weaponry during the parade to avoid provoking Ukraine's sensitive nerves.

This scene is a world of difference from the state Putin displayed over four years ago when he aggressively invaded Ukraine.

This was already terrifying enough. Immediately following, something even more terrifying and significant occurred.

In the press conference after the parade, Putin officially stated to journalists from around the world: the Russia-Ukraine war is moving toward an end, and he is prepared to end it. This ending is not a victory, but a capitulation-style conclusion.

Therefore, Putin's remarks this time were evaluated by mainstream media worldwide as "Putin's unprecedentedly low-key statement," "a sign that Putin can no longer continue this war," and "Putin is looking for a way to exit the war." Even Russian domestic media used similar terms.

To be precise, the most noteworthy point about this parade, especially the press conference, is that Putin is no longer the Putin we knew.

Who is Putin? He is the world's most famous "tough guy" president, the one who fights bears and sits in bombers to threaten the U.S. What have been the characteristics of Putin's 20-plus years in power? Never admitting mistakes, never retreating, never showing weakness. Every crisis was packaged as a victory. Crimea, the Syrian war, Chechnya, the Wagner incident—when he wanted to attack Ukraine, he attacked. When he wanted to incorporate four Ukrainian regions into Russian territory, he did so.

Therefore, absolutely no one expected that the current Putin could show weakness, becoming so frail that he agreed to have no heavy weapons at the Red Square parade, and that few heads of state attended. Even the CCP-ruled country sent no leaders.

Why? Because perhaps many political leaders familiar with Russia already have their own internal intelligence, clearly knowing the uncertainty of Putin's continued rule. For a president whose continued rule is uncertain, there is no need to save face. If they don't go, they don't go.

Now, not only is it difficult for Putin to maintain the scale of the parade ceremony that Russia has held for over 80 years, but he has also publicly expressed to the global media his own desire to end the war and indicated a willingness to meet with Zelenskyy.

Think about it: is this Ukraine yielding, or is Putin backing down?

These are things that would have been impossible for Putin in the past. Given his tough image, one could not have imagined him doing this even last year. And doing so will inevitably allow his domestic political opponents to make a lot of hay out of it.

Under the current circumstances, if Putin takes the initiative to state that he wants to end the Russia-Ukraine war, what are the predictable consequences? As long as the war comes to an end, Russia will inevitably pay massive reparations for this war, including unimaginable losses to itself. These reparations will include massive compensation to the entire Western world, including Ukraine. Domestically, it will also have to face the reckoning of war responsibilities and losses. After all, with so many Russians dead, its military strength drastically reduced, the Black Sea Fleet gone, and countless political, economic, and social tragic consequences, someone must take the blame.

Putin currently holds absolute power in Russia. Therefore, when it comes to finding someone to take the blame, Russia cannot find a scapegoat. This characteristic is the same as Xi Jinping's.

Xi Jinping is the same. If something really happens, say if they were to attack Taiwan, needless to say how miserably they would die. Later, when there is time, we can discuss military matters. Why is it that the gap between the U.S. military and all other militaries in the world is not just one or two generations, but generations upon generations?

Through this recent period—whether it was Venezuela, striking Iran, or various local wars—we can clearly see how huge the generational gap is between the U.S. and the rest of the world in combat capability. When the time really comes that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) wants to start a war, Xi Jinping will not be able to find a scapegoat either.

Therefore, for Putin, as long as there is the slightest chance to keep the war going and allow Russia to eventually win, he would not host such a Red Sea military parade, nor would he make such statements in a press conference.

Judging by Putin's consistent political persona and behavior over the past 20-plus years, the current Putin is completely unlike the original Putin. As I always say, when abnormal things happen, there is bound to be a demon behind it. Therefore, the scope of choices currently facing Putin should be very small.

In fact, whether the war continues or stops, Putin cannot escape the ultimate outcome of having to step down. Therefore, logically, Putin has most likely shifted his focus from the outcome of the Russia-Ukraine war to how to find and build a safe exit route for himself.

This can be seen from his recent active contact with Schröder, hoping he would help Russia participate in European peace mediation. Unfortunately, the EU resolutely rejected Schröder's representative status on the grounds that Schröder is pro-Russian and cannot represent Europe.

Therefore, to play the prophet of doom, regardless of whether the Russia-Ukraine war stops immediately or not, the stage Putin has entered into is no longer about whether to fight or not, but how to hand over power safely, how to ensure his own peaceful exit, and how to avoid trouble.

The specific timetable will be based on the result that he believes can best ensure his safe landing. Of course, given Putin's shrewdness, he will never drag this matter out. Because if it is dragged out any further, the domestic and international situations will become increasingly uncontrollable.

As we all know, in May of this year, Russia neither launched a spring offensive nor made territorial gains—in fact, losing territory has been a very major loss in recent years. So now, for Putin, the room for future choices is small, and he must act immediately.

Why is this a good thing?

Putin's downfall, as we have discussed, will be the last domino to push down the Chinese Communist Party in the international environment. With everything gone from top, bottom, left, and right, the immediate situation facing all of the Chinese Communist Party's partners will be: as long as Putin falls, Venezuela is gone, Cuba is gone, and in the situation with Iran—once Putin falls, the CCP will be isolated.

Therefore, the Chinese Communist Party will probably completely implement a closed-door policy at that time. Everyone must mentally prepare themselves.

Iran discharging oil at Khark Island is bad news for the whole world. Why did no one come to Putin's military parade and international leader attendance this time? Remember again, why did no partners come? Think about it carefully.

Politically, even the CCP did not go, which means everyone's internal intelligence should have already confirmed that Putin is going to fall. The closer one gets to Putin now, the more completely uncontrollable information it will generate for the future leader who might come to power in Russia. Therefore, no one is willing to get that close. You must understand this, including Putin's speech.

This is definitely good news.

Therefore, the collapse of these countries—Venezuela, Cuba, Russia, Iran, and so on, whether through collapse or transition—is a natural and necessary metabolic phenomenon that occurs in the competitive development of human civilization, and it is bound to happen. Along with the collapse and transition of these countries, the collapse of the Chinese Communist Party is also inevitable and irreversible.

This is a scene that will definitely appear in the process of the development of human civilization. As the wheels of history roll forward, as the old saying goes, no one can stop them. The CCP is the same. The current model of the People's Republic of China is an absolute political system that absolutely violates the direction of human civilization's development.

In addition, external conditions are getting worse and collapsing further, leading to external pressure on the Chinese Communist Party while simultaneously revealing increasingly weak and collapsing signals within the CCP internally.

Just during the last live stream, a friend asked me about the World Cup broadcast and CCTV. Have you ever thought that this issue is both a very small and a very big matter?

That is, China Central Television (CCTV) has basically confirmed that it will no longer purchase the television broadcast rights for the 2026 FIFA Men's World Cup finals. Of course, because Xi Jinping super loves men's soccer, whether the CCP central government will finally resolve the matter through pre-broadcast operations, we do not know. But for now, this has basically been confirmed, and it will no longer be broadcast.

The small matter is that this is just about the broadcasting rights for a world sports event. The big matter is that China has 300 million football fans.

If this matter ends with this result, it will mean that for the first time in the 48 years since 1978, football fans in the PRC will be unable to watch the FIFA World Cup men's final on television in the PRC. In these 48 years, this is yet another miracle, yet another "first," that has appeared in the People's Republic of China since Xi Jinping came to power.

The process of this matter is very simple, and there have been public reports on it.

The PRC has the largest number of football fans in the world—300 million. As everyone knows, FIFA uses a large amount of data to comprehensively evaluate certain things. The PRC has 300 million fans, and according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, the average purchasing power of residents has entered the top tier of developing countries and reached the baseline of developed countries. In addition, for the last six FIFA World Cup men's finals, the advertising revenue of CCTV has ranked in the top three worldwide.

Based on these standards, FIFA confirmed the price range for the television broadcasting rights for this World Cup to CCTV of the People's Republic of China. The number of people is absolutely the highest in the world, and the revenue is good, so they categorized the PRC in the same group as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan. That is, the initial quote for the television broadcasting rights for the PRC was in the range of 200 million to 300 million USD.

However, this price was immediately rejected by the PRC's highest video party media, CCTV. Subsequently, in order not to lose the market of 300 million PRC fans, FIFA took the initiative to lower the price twice. Now, the television broadcasting rights have been reduced to 120 million USD.

How low is this price? Currently, the price for the television broadcasting rights for the 2026 World Cup men's final that FIFA has confirmed with South Korea is 125 million USD. The total number of South Korean fans is not even 30 million, less than one-tenth of the PRC's. Giving the PRC 120 million USD is even less than what is given to South Korea.

According to data, during previous World Cups, South Korean television advertising revenue was far less than that of PRC's CCTV. Even so, CCTV did not agree. Publicly available responses stated that the acceptable broadcasting price is 60 million to 80 million USD.

How low is this price? One-third of Japan's. Less than twice that of India's. India's GDP and per capita disposable income are both only one-fifth of the PRC's, and the number of fans is less than half of the PRC's. Don't look at its large total population; it has less than half the number of fans. Therefore, the comprehensive economic ratio for World Cup broadcasting is even lower than one-tenth of China's. Similarly, Japan, South Korea, India, etc., are all in the same Asian time zone as China. As a result, according to China's logic this time, the broadcasting rights for India should only be sold for 6 million USD—30 million, now 6 million is enough. Why? Because the CCP is only willing to pay 60 million.

After this incident occurred, various official media of the CCP, as well as those "white glove" media outlets, published commentaries, all pointing their fingers at FIFA, condemning it for discriminating against China and bullying the PRC.

I have already said that they all have standards; why would they condemn you or bully you? Japan paid 200 million, South Korea 125 million; why would they bully you?

Various media outlets voiced support for CCTV, praising CCTV for something, including what Hu Xijin wrote, calling it "safeguarding the money bags for the Chinese people." The problem is, what does CCTV's broadcasting have to do with the people's money bags?

I don't want to write about how nonsensical these remarks are; in any case, they are all used to brainwash the Little Pinks. It is particularly absurd and cannot withstand scrutiny. They say the match time is in the middle of the night, which is unfavorable for advertising revenue—are Japan, South Korea, and India not in the same time zone as you? Why do they spend the money? Is it not the middle of the night for them? Is it only for you?

And what about "saving money"? Every year, tens of trillions are poured into infrastructure and all go down the drain, and that money doesn't even make a sound; why not safeguard the money bags then? Is the CCP not purchasing the World Cup broadcasting rights beneficial to the country and the people? Then CCTV purchases so many broadcasting rights, spending huge sums to purchase the broadcasting rights for "Empresses in the Palace"—have you watched "Empresses in the Palace"? Does that mean the silver of the Chinese people was transferred away by Sun Li? Is that not beneficial to the country and the people?

PRC official media is full of nonsensical brainwashing rhetoric.

Therefore, I will not go into detail about the ins and outs of this matter. Everyone can look at the public information themselves; it is available in many places. I just want to say how significant the meaning revealed behind this is.

This is a very bad manifestation and sign of the current comprehensive collapse of the PRC's economy.

Let me repeat, CCTV is the video party media and official media of the PRC. Since the Reform and Opening-up, CCTV has paid special attention to expanding its positive image in the PRC and absorbing a positive international image through the broadcasting of global sports events.

Everyone recall, those who are about my age or a little younger—before Xi Jinping came to power, or even until before the pandemic, what was CCTV's broadcasting of sports events like?

For all competitions in the world, such as men's football leagues, the Champions League, the Premier League, Serie A, including NBA games, and even live broadcasts of international e-sports competitions, did the CCP not do them all? Because the CCP has always regarded the comprehensive broadcasting of top global sports events as a typical political symbol of the country's comprehensive modernization.

This behavior contains an important signal of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) guiding the narrative of national rise, and it is also an important tool for the CCP to maintain stability. Some people say that regarding advertising, this matter just means poverty, and advertising has also become impoverished.

In addition, broadcasting sports matches contains huge commercial interests, which is a very important matter for CCTV in the country under the CCP. Therefore, in such matters, the CCP country can guide a large number of fans through broadcasting, and then weave its own political narrative and guide awareness during the process of sports fans watching the matches. In addition, a large number of commercial institutions are willing to invest heavily in advertising during the broadcast of international sports events. This dual effect—being politically ahead and making a lot of money—even led a large number of private enterprises to participate in the global sports event broadcasting copyright business for a time.

Private enterprises in the CCP country, such as Suning Appliance's PP Sports at the time, once spent 565 million USD to purchase the three-year exclusive copyright of the English Premier League in the CCP country. This time CCTV only offered 60 million, and they refused to do it for 200 to 300 million. What PP Sports bought for 565 million USD back then was not the World Cup, but the three-year exclusive copyright of the English Premier League in China.

At that time, the sports market scale of the CCP country was still smaller than it later became. Compared to the proportion of broadcasting copyright fees for many international sports events at the time, FIFA's asking price this time was not high. However, after the epidemic began, the economy of the CCP country declined rapidly, and PP Sports also experienced a broadcast default incident. As we all know, that default was the first time since 1978 that the CCP country experienced a blowout in the world's top event copyright market. After that, there were many blowouts and defaults, and now basically very little is done.

Some people ask whether Tencent can be watched on the internet this time, but it is estimated that Tencent is also reluctant to spend money.

Because from after the epidemic to 2026, China rapidly became crazy poor within two or three years. Therefore, even for the most powerful party-state media video institutions like CCTV, government funding is decreasing faster and faster. Meanwhile, due to a lack of money and market decline, a large number of enterprises in the CCP country have lost interest in advertising during the World Cup, which they used to fight tooth and nail to enter.

Why not do it? Because with 300 million Chinese football fans, even if CCTV becomes their only broadcasting channel to watch the World Cup, enterprises have no way to convert the viewership of so many impoverished fans into purchasing power for their products.

Therefore, the entire country, the entire market, and the populace are getting poorer and poorer. Under these circumstances, the increasingly impoverished CCTV lacks the money to buy the television broadcasting rights for the 2026 Men's World Cup men's football finals offered by FIFA. To some extent, it is even inferior to India. The price given by FIFA is not only reasonable, but far lower than the standards judged by other similar criteria.

Unable to buy it, the mentality of making excuses emerges. At this time, the media under the CCP, as we all know, have to speak out, saying the quote is too high, this and that, saving money for the people. But everyone has a memory. People have memories.

Just think about it, over the decades since the reform and opening up, when has CCTV ever talked about saving money when buying copyrights? In the minds of the Chinese people, has CCTV always been the wealthiest tycoon that never lacks money?

When I was working in the aerospace system of the CCP country back then, I was once seconded to the Beijing Gehua Group as a state-owned asset manager. For a period of time in 1997, I participated in CCTV's purchase of the animation copyright for Journey to the West, which is the animation with the ending theme song "White Dragon Horse." Does anyone here know how much money CCTV ultimately spent to buy the copyright of this animation in 1997?

I can tell you, 60 million RMB. The purchasing power of 60 million RMB in 1997 should be more than 600 million USD today. We never heard that CCTV wanted to save silver for the people and therefore would not buy the copyright of this animation. I do not know if it was broadcast on the Big Windmill program back then. How many commercials could this animation have, and I do not know how many Journey to the West fans or animation fans there were in the CCP country. But I know that at that time, CCTV would never tell everyone that CCTV wanted to be diligent and thrifty, meticulous, and save money. That is impossible.

Just like Wang Sicong. Think about it, if Wang Sicong hangs out in nightclubs for decades, never asks the price when buying things, orders the most expensive brand of champagne every time, and shows off how rich he is to other guests in the nightclub and his own brought friends. Now Comrade Wang Sicong comes to this nightclub again, but starts haggling over the price of wine, constantly bargaining, and always saying that this champagne is too expensive now. He used to drink it all the time, but now he finds it too expensive. Why? He says he wants to consume rationally, cannot be kidnapped by brand-name champagne, wants to be plain and thrifty, save money for the people's interests, and spend money where it should be spent.

Does anyone think anyone believes this?

This kind of reason has existed for decades, why didn't you ever say it before, and only now it has become a reason? Everyone understands what is going on; it's just that Young Master Wang has no money, is poor, and can't afford to drink such expensive wine, it is just that simple.

However, the Central Television of the CCP is the mouthpiece of the party, and it cannot say it has no money, cannot say no enterprises are doing advertising, cannot say the economy is declining, and cannot say it cannot afford to buy the broadcasting rights for the 2026 World Cup. Saying so would produce extremely negative social impacts.

However, those party-state media of the CCP are masters of setting the agenda and shifting topics. Their most proficient skill is giving a politically correct positive interpretation to negative information of failure and distress, and ultimately turning it into positive information that can inspire the public.

Fucking awesome. We all know that unemployment is called 'slow employment,' pay cuts are called 'optimizing the salary structure,' foreign capital withdrawal is called 'industrial upgrading,' de-globalization is called 'internal circulation,' and cutting benefits is called 'sustainable development.' CCTV now knows all four seasons, calling it 'consumption downgrading,' and when explained to the outside world, it's called 'rational consumption' to save money for the people. What's the point of that?

Why do I say this matter is important? From the background, you can see that the CCP's most powerful and authoritative video media is so poor that it can't even afford the broadcast rights for the World Cup. Can you imagine how much this country has declined?

Ten years ago, just ten years ago, the narrative of the CCP's mainstream media was still about the East rising and the West falling, the Wolf Warrior spirit, the CCP's China replacing the United States as the world's largest economy, and infinite growth. What about now? What are Chinese media talking about now? The Party leading the masses to live rationally, and that living frugally is the correct way of life.

When you say this, and the Chinese public compares both sides, what will they think? Who would dare to increase consumption? How can the massive, irreconcilable social contradictions be resolved?

So everyone can see how poor the CCP's China is now. Even the most powerful Party media and authoritative outlets can't afford to pay. Of course, this is not the only unfortunate event currently displayed by the CCP, but rather one of many that, because it cannot be hidden, has been seen by everyone. The World Cup is broadcast internationally; why didn't China buy it? This can't be covered up.

Due to the economic downturn, the whole country is getting poorer and poorer. Now, even for things that are unfortunate at the government level in China, although they remain mostly underwater due to stability maintenance (weiwen) experience, in reality, widespread negative phenomena are already manifesting crazily beneath the surface.

Even the Party media that the CCP values most has no money, and they can't even save face. No matter how they brainwash or use inductive language to cover things up, they can't hide the essence. It's just that poor.

When the CCP can't even cover things up, this country should, like Putin, and Xi Jinping should, like Putin, start clearly looking for their final exit strategy.

Finally, let's talk about today's topic: How poor are the people in the CCP's China?

Why talk about this? Because recently, a lot of social misinformation has appeared in the CCP's propaganda again, and many friends are asking. Furthermore, due to the lack of public data from the CCP's China, people don't understand it clearly. Fortunately, by stating facts and reasoning, as long as you learn to look at the CCP's official data, you can see the difference.

Some say that without the Chinese team, there's no need to watch the World Cup. You're not a fan then; you're a fan of China, a fan of the CCP. You are definitely not a sports fan. You just think that if it's Chinese, it's good, and if China wins a sports match, it's great, feeling that this country has something to do with you. Don't you feel it's a disgrace to be Chinese? I think most Chinese who are slightly rational, especially those overseas who have the means to get out, will gradually feel that being Chinese is a disgrace. If you still see it that way, then there's really no helping you.

I'll say it again, is the football match in the CCP's China even worth watching?

Below, I will deduce from China's official data just how poor the people of this country really are.

According to the 2025 data from China's National Bureau of Statistics, the total amount of resident deposits is about 160 trillion yuan. And in 2025, the total value of real estate in the CCP's China is between 400 trillion and 500 trillion yuan. At the peak of wealth value in 2021 and 2022, it could reach 600 trillion yuan; it has dropped by 20% in the last two years, and now 400 trillion to 500 trillion yuan remains. The total resident debt is only about 100 trillion yuan.

So according to public data, for 1.4 billion Chinese, with 160 trillion in deposits, the average deposit per person is 114,200 yuan; with 400 trillion to 500 trillion yuan in housing property, the average housing wealth per Chinese person is 285,700 to 357,100 yuan. Just from these two items, the average wealth of every Chinese person could be 400,000 to 470,000 yuan. For a family of three, the average wealth could reach over 1.2 million yuan. And the average debt per Chinese person is only 71,400 yuan, with a family of three having only 210,000 yuan in debt.

With at least 1.2 million in wealth and at most 210,000 in debt, the debt-to-asset ratio is very low, looking good on paper.

However, you really can't analyze it this way. Because this world is not average. Introducing one value can more clearly show the true living conditions of the Chinese people. This value is called the Gini coefficient.

I've mentioned before that the Gini coefficient measures the concentration of wealth in a group. If the Gini coefficient is 0, then wealth is distributed equally among everyone. If the Gini coefficient is 1, all the wealth of the group, say 100,000 people, is concentrated in the hands of one person, and everyone else has zero. That is 1.

Therefore, in a society, the higher the Gini coefficient, the higher the concentration of wealth, which means the more severe the dictatorship and the more severe the exploitation. The Gini coefficient calculation formula is quite complex, so I won't explain it to you. Generally, above 0.6, a country is seriously likely to face crises, rebellions, etc.

Although the people in the CCP's China are very timid, the current situation in China is as follows.

There are two values to measure a country's situation with the Gini coefficient. One is the income Gini coefficient, which is the short-term annual cash flow situation. The other is the wealth Gini coefficient, which is the long-term condition for whether everyone can survive. So the income Gini coefficient uses the year as the time frame to see how much cash flow comes in for everyone; the wealth Gini coefficient looks at whether they can survive and what kind of life they live.

According to the announcement of the National Bureau of Statistics, China has an income Gini coefficient that is announced annually. Around 2025, it is about 0.45. Calculated through a typical distribution curve, it can be seen that based on this 0.45 value from the National Bureau of Statistics of the People's Republic of China, the top 10% of people in China take away 35% of all Chinese income. Their average income value is 3.3 times the average disposable income publicly announced by the state.

The remaining 90% share the remaining 65% of the income.

Going further down, the 20% following the top 10% take away 30% of the total income. In other words, just the first two groups, accounting for 30% of the population, take away 65%. The income of this 20% population is about 1.5 times the average disposable income publicly announced by the state.

The remaining 70% of the population can only divide the remaining 35% of the money.

Within this 70%, the bottom 30% takes away 25% of the total income. Their average income is about 80% of the average value publicly announced by the state. However, these 60% of people have already taken away 90% of the income. Therefore, the remaining 40% of people can only share the remaining 10% of income.

The last 20% of people can only divide 3.5% of the total income. The money they actually earn each month is about 10% of the average disposable income currently announced by the state to the outside world.

Therefore, according to the income Gini coefficient announced by the official National Bureau of Statistics of the CCP, more than 70% of people in China have actual income below the official average disposable income.

In 2025, the median per capita disposable income in China was 36231 RMB, which is 3019 RMB per month. According to the income Gini coefficient of the National Bureau of Statistics, among China's 700 million employed population, at least 7 million people had an income of only 300 RMB per month in 2025.

Isn't this figure quite terrifying? That is to say, 70% of the people in Chinese society live on low wages, and 40% of the people live on extremely low wages. We see an annual average of 36231 RMB, more than 3000 RMB a month in wages, which seems like a lot, but in fact this value is pulled up by a very small number of high-paying positions.

This reflects the income of the employed population. Then what about the remaining 700 million people without jobs? What about the 14 million people in the entire country? Are they poor or rich?

We need to look at the nationwide wealth Gini coefficient.

According to the public research data from Wuhan University and Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in the CCP's country, these are very authoritative and long-term studies. As early as 2012, the wealth Gini coefficient in the CCP's country had already reached 0.61, breaking through 0.71 in 2023, and reaching 0.75 in 2025. These research data are obtained through on-site surveys of a massive population, and their authenticity is closer to reality than the data from the National Bureau of Statistics of the CCP. These are universities in its own country.

Let's use the 0.71 value from 2023; we can see it through the typical distribution curve. If the wealth Gini coefficient in the CCP's country is 0.71, under normal circumstances, the top 10% of people own 78% of the total social wealth, close to 80%.

Next, 10% of the people own 15% of the total social wealth. That is to say, the top 20% of people have already taken away 93% of the wealth of the whole society. Further down, 30% of the people own 6% of the total social wealth. The remaining 50% of the whole society own less than 1% of the total wealth of the entire country.

Remember, 50% of the people own less than 1% of all the wealth in this country. A more detailed breakdown can be done, but it is pointless because everyone just needs to know that 50% own less than 1%.

In other words, among the so-called 160 trillion RMB in resident deposits, 10% of the people, which is 140 million people, own 125 trillion RMB, nearly 80% of the wealth. This was the value in 2023, and now it should definitely exceed 80%. An average of 890000 RMB per person.

And these 140 million people, accounting for 10% of the population, closely match the approximately 120 million people in total comprising government-affiliated personnel currently working and retired, civil servants, state-owned enterprises, public institutions, and so on in the CCP's country. That is to say, almost the entire upper layer consists of government-affiliated personnel.

Eighty percent of the people in the CCP's country, which is 1.12 billion people, can only divide 7% of the total resident wealth. Averaged out to each person, it is 10000 RMB, only 10000 RMB from birth to death.

And for the bottom 50% of the population, I repeat, this is real survey data. The bottom 50% of the population, 700 million people, can at most own 1.6 trillion RMB in wealth. How much per person? 2200 RMB. 2200 RMB for a lifetime.

If one in five people has 10000 RMB in savings, can everyone imagine the savings of the remaining four people?

Therefore, the 10% of people in the CCP's country, mainly government-related, have an average wealth of 890000 RMB per person. Compared with the bottom 50% who have an average wealth of 2000 RMB per person, what is the wealth gap? 450 times.

According to economic theory and international economic practice over so many years, in this kind of society, the wealth of the top 10% of the population flows into investments, asset purchases, or overseas, but it will definitely never flow to the bottom 50% domestically. And the bottom 50% of the population will be firmly locked into their inherent class.

If you don't understand, ask an AI. In other words, 50% of the population in China has only one way to survive: by desperately selling their physical strength, basic labor, and mental energy. They have absolutely no access to any path of asset appreciation. And their ability to resist asset devaluation or debt is zero.

These 50% of Chinese people work themselves to the bone, and the income they earn is exploited by the upper class through rent and the cost of living.

According to economic theory and international economic practice, once an economic recession occurs in such a society, a clear fragmentation effect will emerge. That is, the wealth of the top-tier wealthy population may even increase or shrink slowly, but the bottom-tier population will almost inevitably face a survival crisis; it is just a matter of when.

Half of China's entire population is forever excluded from any possibility of national wealth growth, and they have to bear almost all the costs of the economic downturn.

I am mentioning these coefficients; you can look them up yourselves. Look at the research from these universities I mentioned, Wuhan University and Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. The only way for these people to survive is to desperately sell their physical strength and basic labor; there is no other way.

Therefore, the problems that will emerge in the CCP-ruled China in the future are exactly what everyone sees now: low birth rates, people lying flat, and the cooling of consumption. This is bound to happen. Economics calls this phenomenon "nothing to lose." Having nothing to lose means there is nothing left to lose, because they have nothing at all.

If there is even a slight social unrest or economic fluctuation, these people will fall below the survival threshold and cannot be saved. So in the CCP-ruled China, if you can survive by lying flat, that is your fate. Why? No matter how hard you try, if you belong to the bottom 50%, working yourself to death, working until you cough up blood, both in theory and in practice, you cannot escape the fate of eventually falling below the survival threshold; it won't get better.

Think about it, this is the country we live in today. We see every day how much money this country has in savings, how much wealth it has, and what the situation is like. But if you really look at the data—not what I say, but the wealth Gini coefficient provided by universities within China—you will realize where you stand.

Of course, for these people at the bottom, finding a partner, getting married, or buying a big house is out of the question. Frankly speaking, many men are unwilling to get married.

So that is the current situation.

If you have any questions, let's chat for a bit, but that's it for today. I still have to fix things. I was almost hit by a food delivery driver just now. Let me tell you all, remember this: food delivery drivers, Didi drivers, people living at the bottom of society—no matter how angry they get at you, do not argue with them. Do you understand?

No matter how they lose their temper at you, just obediently endure it. You must know that they live at the very bottom, and the cost of their lives—whether they live or die—is very low. Many of them might be tired of living. If you argue with such a person, and he hits you, insults you, or curses at you, what will happen if you don't endure it? If you don't endure it and argue with him, he isn't afraid. Do you understand? He doesn't care if he dies. So, never argue.

Society has reached this point; just endure whatever happens.

Someone asked about exchanging US dollars. Haven't you seen that they are checking it now? To exchange more than 1,000 US dollars, you have to explain the background and submit relevant documents before you can exchange it. You can't exchange it now. They give you the quota, but the reasons and various conditions don't match up, so you can't exchange it.

Applying for the Hong Kong Quality Migrant Admission Scheme is fine. Hong Kong independence? Go ahead and try. But a Hong Kong ID card is not a passport; you should know that. Whether there are job opportunities in Hong Kong, I don't know. Because a large amount of assets from wealthy people in China cannot be transferred abroad, they can only go to Hong Kong. Now, due to government conditions, this has even pushed up the value of Hong Kong assets. This is very interesting. For a Hong Kong with few job opportunities and an increasingly declining economy, the assets of wealthy people in China cannot go directly abroad, so they go to Hong Kong in a disguised way, which has actually pushed up the value of Hong Kong assets, even housing prices.

Saving in HSBC Hong Kong is fine, as long as they let you save. But if they don't let you do things, it won't work.

The social security bomb, 2029. It won't happen in the next two years; currently, it's 2029 or 2030, most likely 2029. But if the CCP provides more subsidies, it might be 2030.

50,000 US dollars per person per year, go check the internet yourself. Ask Doubao, ask DeepSeek, whether I am right or this student is right. See if you can exchange money easily now, or if you need a pile of procedures and documents. You are in China right now; you can directly ask DeepSeek or Doubao if China introduced new regulations in 2026 requiring a clear reason and justification to exchange more than 50,000 RMB or 1,000 US dollars, and that you must report it before you can exchange it. Don't believe me, and don't believe others. At the very least, AI will not lie to you on such non-political issues.

Gold is a hedging tool. What are you going to do about gold? Your mindset is so poor, how can you make money? You don't need to tell me you exchanged 50,000 US dollars in January; I don't know how you managed that. The world is like this. Ask the AI, if it clearly tells you that the regulations are set that way, you will know that you are either a lucky one or that enforcement varies by region. Individual cases don't represent anything.

Before the regulations were introduced, it was allowed. If you look it up on the internet yourself, domestic artificial intelligence can also tell you that this is a new regulation. If you keep arguing about it, there is no point.

Gossip every Sunday, on another channel, just look it up, it should be Lao Zhai Gossip.

That is all for us today.

Buy American soybeans and airplanes, buy them. You have to buy them. If you don't buy them, aren't you running into even more pressing problems now? A very important question everyone needs to think about now is that, after all, Russia is not dead yet, Iran is not dead yet, and the the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is the same. As the saying goes, people don't shed tears until they see the coffin, so they still hold onto a last shred of hope.

Everyone can just think about it for yourselves. This hope largely relies on the support of the United States. Without support, it's truly over.

That's all for today, thank you everyone. I'll do an extra broadcast on Tuesday. Wishing friends back home a good night's sleep, and friends overseas all your wishes to come true.
