Hu Liren: Cheng Li-wun Surrounded by Anti-Communists in the US
The video mainly covers Cheng Li-wun's activities in Maryland, as well as the protests and siege against her by anti-communist individuals. The author, Hu Liren, mentions that Cheng Li-wun's pro-CCP stance triggered strong condemnation from several people at the scene, and the police were dispatched to maintain order. Although she attempted to engage with some American political figures, she was given the cold shoulder due to her pro-CCP identity. Hu Liren analyzes the history of the Kuomintang and the current political situation, pointing out the necessity of opposing pro-CCP stances and emphasizing that the current government in Taiwan should be supported.

Full text: Alright, hello everyone. The first live stream of the day has begun. I was talking about this yesterday. I said that Cheng Li-wun, on the 11th—which was yesterday—was in Rockville, that town near Washington D.C. in Maryland. Near Rockville, there is a place called the Han Palace Restaurant. Many pro-CCP individuals held a banquet for Cheng Li-wun there. It seemed to be about 40 tables; of course, they weren't large tables, maybe small ones, 40 tables. I have eaten at this restaurant before; I have eaten there. So, I said that we would send people over there yesterday. We have a group of anti-CCP individuals who live in that vicinity, near Washington, some even in Washington. A group of them went directly over there. I knew about this information, and I notified them. I said, "You guys go over there." Everyone, take a look and listen: this is about defecting to the CCP and betraying the Republic of China! Everyone heard it and saw it. Cheng Li-wun was just coming out of the restaurant—or was she going in? She must have been going in. And those pro-CCP individuals over there even hired some local police, fearing trouble, so they hired local police. A police car was parked there, patrolling for them. Then there were those gangsters from the New York Overseas Chinese Association, following Cheng Li-wun to act as her bodyguards, acting as her bodyguards. Of course, regarding these protests, in the United States, street protests are allowed; this is a right granted by the Constitution, a right granted by the Constitutional Amendments. So yesterday, Cheng Li-wun was severely scolded again. Everyone heard it; she was severely scolded! Right on the spot, across the street—the police wouldn't allow you to get close to her. So that was it, across the street, just when Cheng Li-wun was going in for the banquet. People like Cheng Li-wun will be condemned by righteous people all over the world! How evil a collective the CCP is! I originally intended to go yesterday. I thought about driving over there a couple of days ago. Driving there would take me about two days—drive one day today, one day tomorrow, and I'd be there. I often drive, and I have a place to stay there, I have a house there. So, everyone, look at these people. Since Cheng Li-wun arrived this time, things have not gone smoothly for her; she has been scolded and condemned all the way. Now, leaders of multiple parties in the U.S. Congress will not meet with her; they will not meet with her. And it's not just the leaders of multiple parties who won't meet her; even officials from the State Department will not meet her, will not meet her. At that time, she was still saying, "I want to meet with Trump." How could Trump meet with her? It's impossible! Even if he did meet you, so what? So what if he meets you? Right? Your party has already become such a rotten party that it is being condemned by all civilized countries in the world! Right? This is how it is now: all righteous, civilized countries, normal countries, are leaning toward the current Taiwan government, which means they recognize the actions of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and recognize the political platform of the DPP. No matter how incapable the DPP might be, there is one good thing: the DPP does not defect to the CCP. This point is good! I can tell everyone, it is very difficult for the DPP to defect to the CCP, and it is very difficult for the Communist Party to buy off people from the DPP. But those bought off by the Communist Party are almost all from the Kuomintang (KMT), these descendants of the KMT. In the past, I have met those descendants of the KMT. These people themselves, their entire families back home were wiped out, because they fled, they ran to Taiwan. But their entire families were wiped out because they were high-ranking KMT officials. At that time, the Communist Party would absolutely not let you go! During the "Suppression of Counter-revolutionaries," they absolutely would not let you go! Some had their entire families executed; the Communist Party just shot your whole family, wiped them out, and seized all your assets! Just think, under these circumstances, their descendants are now pro-CCP. You tell me, is this the case? Is it true? They are like animals! Just think, normal human beings cannot do this! Right? Your family members were all executed. Do you know how these people were abused when they were dying? How miserable it was! When I was in China, I saw it with my own eyes—many Taiwanese compatriots were abused during the Cultural Revolution. Taiwanese compatriots—if you had relatives in Taiwan, and this relative might have been KMT, or a key member of the KMT, or just a KMT soldier, an ordinary veteran—your family would be monitored and persecuted! You had to report regularly. You wouldn't get any good things or normal treatment! Your children wouldn't even be assigned jobs, and even if they were, they would be assigned the most garbage jobs!
You also had to report to the government regularly and attend their study sessions. My mother had some friends at the time; our family was a landlord and capitalist family, so my mother was implicated as well, even though we were in Shanghai. Later, after the joint state-private ownership was implemented, our shop was taken over by the government, confiscated. But at that time, because of one political campaign after another, people from families like my mother's were required to attend a specialized training class called the bad-elements training class. This class was meant to give you ideological and political work, which basically meant summoning you for regular study sessions. In this class, there were many relatives of Kuomintang members. For instance, there was a person from Shanghai whose older brother was in the Kuomintang and had gone to Taiwan as a Kuomintang soldier, or something similar. Consequently, his younger sister was implicated. For example, when the Communist Party distributed housing back then, families like yours were assigned a very small place—three generations living together in a single room of just a few square meters. That's how it was in Shanghai! They seized your family's house, confiscated it! That's how it was for our family back then, right? Many families in Shanghai, many families across China, went through the exact same thing! Shanghai was actually considered relatively fortunate; if you lived in other places, it was even more ruthless! Right? In some provinces, during the suppression of counterrevolutionaries around 1949 and 1950, entire families could just be wiped out! Entire families were exterminated! Later on, when some people came back to China to look for their relatives from the Kuomintang, they couldn't even find any surviving family members! The Communist Party would tell you that the people were gone, completely gone, and you wouldn't even know where they were! Some people, isn't that pitiful, right? And yet the descendants of these very people are still pro-Communist today! Still pro-Communist! All of this is history, genuine history! Look, that's why this time when Cheng Li-wun came to the United States, she was denounced everywhere she went! Yesterday, I was the one who told them about it, I said, 'You guys go right away!' Yesterday, they dispatched a group of people to that location; originally, they didn't even know about it. Later on, I provided them with the address, the exact time the banquet was going to be held there, and all the specific information. Well, Cheng Li-wun is about to crawl back to Taiwan, about to crawl back to Taiwan! Her whole political stunt of a trip to the U.S. is an absolute failure! Furthermore, it exposed that these pro-Communist forces of the Communist Party, the criminal underworld forces backed by the Communist Party in the United States, are helping her, assisting her! This is a disgrace! This is a disgrace to the Kuomintang! Look at the Kuomintang this time, every time some political figures from Taiwan come to the U.S., there are always many Communist forces protesting on-site, right? There are way too many protests! You don't even have to be based in the U.S.; as long as you transit through this place, a lot of people will show up to protest, right? To curse and protest! This time with Cheng Li-wun, it was completely the opposite, completely the opposite! These underworld forces, these criminal forces are still helping her, can you imagine? Therefore, Cheng Li-wun cannot, absolutely cannot be regarded as a normal Taiwanese politician; she is simply a pro-communist, a running dog of the Communist Party! So Taiwanese people must remember this point! She is a Communist wearing the outer garment of the Kuomintang, a Communist! Right? She is pretty much the same as Carrie Lam, the Carrie Lam of Hong Kong back then! Carrie Lam was just open about being part of the Communist Party. Cheng, on the other hand, is covert and hidden, claiming to be from the Kuomintang, but everything she does—her rhetoric, her talking points, all her actions—is completely consistent with the Communist Party! Including the outcome, the outcome is also consistent! That is Cheng Li-wun! So that's why I sent people yesterday to curse her out, to go confront her, to expose her ugliness and make her feel embarrassed; that's the exact reason! That's the reason! Actually, what happened on the scene yesterday was orchestrated by me, I'm telling everyone, I will not let someone like her off the hook! Of course, the United States is a society ruled by law, and we talk about the rule of law; I have the right to protest, the right to protest! These past couple of days while she is in Washington, she will continue to encounter protesters, she will still encounter protesters just the same! Well, thank you all for watching. I hope the Kuomintang cleanses these people, sweeps away this trash, and returns once again to a truly genuine Kuomintang, a normal Kuomintang! Well, thank you all for watching, and see you in the next program!
