Hu Liren: An In-Depth Analysis of Cheng Li-wun and the Current Situation of the Kuomintang
This video, narrated by Hu Liren, provides a deep critique and analysis of the recent performance of Kuomintang (KMT) member Cheng Li-wun. It argues that she lacks strategic vision, relies solely on performance and hype, and maintains close ties with the CCP and organized crime elements, thereby damaging the image of the KMT and the development of democratic Taiwan. At the same time, by reviewing the history of the KMT, its internal corruption, and the phenomenon of brain drain, Hu Liren points out that many anti-communist forces have formed new parties, expressing strong dissatisfaction with the KMT's degeneration. He also analyzes the current factional strife in Taiwan's politics and the realistic dilemmas behind cross-strait relations, calling on Taiwanese society to be vigilant against the threat that KMT-CCP collusion poses to democracy and freedom.

Let me talk to you more about this person, Cheng Li-wun. Cheng Li-wun has been in the United States for the past two days. You see her in the U.S., and in reality, it is all these CCP lackeys protecting her and propping her up. If you look at this result, you will know exactly what kind of role Cheng Li-wun plays. We don't need to study Cheng Li-wun in detail, and there is no need to discuss with those rotten people in the KMT whether Cheng Li-wun is pro-communist or whether she loves Taiwan; discussing these things is useless. Ultimately, you have to look at her actions and her essence.
This person, Cheng Li-wun, really has no level at all. She doesn't understand at all how to save the KMT, nor is she a person who understands strategy. She is just a performer, like a vase. There is really no one left in the KMT; capable people ran away long ago because they already saw that the KMT had rotted to this extent. I believe there were many excellent people within the KMT. Because back when it was the Republic of China, many political figures went to Taiwan. These people consisted of two parts: one part was rotten people, and the other part was very excellent people. Because of internal KMT struggles and corruption, many people later sent their children to the U.S., and many never returned. I have met many such people in Los Angeles, and in the end, they were unwilling to return to Taiwan. It has rotted to this point.
It can be said that Taiwan later became very rotten, but now it is slowly being sorted out; the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is sorting it out. The current Taiwan is gradually developing in a good direction. Everyone should not think that Taiwan is very chaotic now, and it is wrong to push all the responsibility onto the DPP. During the KMT era, Taiwan was even more chaotic; everyone was greedy. This was a corrupt environment. Look at how greedy the CCP is; the KMT was just as greedy. Look at the current KMT; they actually pushed out someone like Cheng Li-wun.
Cheng Li-wun is absolutely the most despicable kind of Chinese person. I have never seen a woman so shameless. People should have some face, but Cheng Li-wun tells lies with her eyes wide open, and what she says is exactly the same as the CCP. This is truly incredible. She lives in a democratic society, but it is precisely in her that one can see how rotten the KMT is. It is precisely because the KMT is too rotten that the DPP emerged, and the DPP was able to gain so many supporters in Taiwan because everyone has become completely disappointed with the KMT.
Hung Hsiu-chu, look at how rotten the KMT is now, even someone like her could become the KMT chairperson. The current Cheng Li-wun... I won't comment on Ma Ying-jeou; I look at him with a different standard, which is completely different from Cheng Li-wun. Ma Ying-jeou has responsibilities, but overall he is better than Cheng Li-wun and Hung Hsiu-chu. Ma Ying-jeou still has a little bit of the positive things of the KMT, but Hung Hsiu-chu and Cheng Li-wun have absolutely none. All the good things that once existed in the KMT are gone, and what remains is the worst.
Look at who received the KMT chairperson when she arrived in the United States, and who she met. She frequently belittled the United States and liberal democratic countries while in Taiwan, yet now she has the audacity to come to the U.S., thinking she can gain political capital—she is dead wrong. I have been communicating with some former KMT members in the U.S. over the past two days to ask for their opinions, and they feel the same way I do: they all think Cheng Li-wun is a rotten person. Many old KMT members actually have integrity, and those with ability have a very low opinion of Cheng Li-wun.
Therefore, you must never consider Cheng Li-wun a true KMT member; she is destroying the KMT and destroying democratic Taiwan. Her mission is to help the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) take Taiwan. She is a complete fraud. The only future destination for Cheng Li-wun is a prison in the Republic of China. This kind of person is a true traitor, selling out the Republic of China, and doing so openly, because she has the support of the CCP and organized crime.
Look at Cheng Li-wun now in Taiwan; she is surrounded by gangsters. If I were doing a show, I would go straight to the scene and scold her. Some people advised me not to go, but actually, I was prepared to go. A couple of days ago, I was planning to go to Rockville, which is not far from Maryland; it only takes twenty to thirty minutes to drive to Washington. I knew she would be dining at that restaurant today.
Look at Cheng Li-wun now; these past few days she has just been drifting along, surrounded by a group of CCP-linked gangsters who are propping her up. In the end, that is all it amounts to. What can she bring to the KMT by coming to the U.S.? Absolutely nothing. She still uses the KMT brand in the U.S., and she will have no way to account for it when she returns. Cheng Li-wun has now become just like Xi Jinping, only able to get by on bluffing.
In the past, the KMT did not leave a bad impression. If the KMT could still insist on being anti-communist to this day—which, of course, has nothing to do with competing for votes with the DPP—it would be good for democratic Taiwan. But they absolutely should not use pro-communist methods, joining forces with the CCP to suppress the DPP; this is the most despicable tactic. The KMT is now even capable of this; the only thing they haven't used is assassination. In a while, they might even start carrying out assassinations, just like in the past; the KMT had assassination squads in Taiwan and overseas. Look at how people in the Left Federation were killed, and journalists were killed; these methods are exactly the same as the CCP's.
So now there is a call in Taiwan to get rid of the KMT. Only then can Taiwan be preserved. The KMT is already harming Taiwan and is becoming increasingly rotten. Now, many former KMT members and anti-communist figures want to form their own party. I heard from former KMT members who have already quit the party that they are preparing to establish a new party to oppose and criticize the old KMT; they say the KMT has completely betrayed its principles.
From its early days to a long period after 1949, the KMT once cooperated with the CCP, but later they had a complete falling out, and there was no cooperation after that. After World War II, did the KMT and the CCP have any cooperation? No. The current KMT has become a "beggar party." The KMT funds that Cheng Li-wun is currently using are all transferred into the KMT's treasury through backroom deals and CCP money. They use various forms, and in fact, the Taiwan government should thoroughly investigate their sources of funding.
Now Cheng Li-wun has truly become a headliner, like a headliner at a cabaret. If the KMT continues like this, it has no future at all and is headed for extinction. The CCP is almost finished; how can you, the KMT, survive? You are in cahoots with the CCP, and the KMT has become a branch of the CCP. If you continue like this, no one will support you.
They are still trying hard to win the votes of Taiwan's centrist voters, treating Taiwanese people like fools to be deceived. In fact, Taiwanese people have already seen clearly that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is threatening Taiwan, and Cheng Li-wun is also cooperating with the CCP to engage in threats of armed unification against Taiwan. The CCP can't even protect itself, yet it goes to threaten and militarily unify Taiwan? It's simply impossible. You want the Kuomintang (KMT) to fight the CCP? The people in the CCP don't even dare to go back; they are afraid of a major war breaking out. As soon as a war starts, several major powers will join in all at once, fiercely attacking the CCP together. Do you think the CCP has any way to survive? Absolutely not.
The CCP is now just bragging and muddling through. Everyone needs to have a clear head; Taiwanese people must be clear. If the KMT wins the next round, then Taiwanese people will have truly been fooled into stupidity by casting their votes for such people. Cheng Li-wun constantly touts Chinese culture and Chinese traditions, but in reality, one only sees the worst kind of Chinese woman in her. I have never seen anyone as rotten as her. Her words and actions are not like those of a normal woman, nor are they like those of a normal Chinese person; this is Cheng Li-wun.
In the last two days, Cheng Li-wun has been in Rockville, and today she is entering Washington. Where has she been? She went to Congress, which I also visit often; it's very simple to get in. She finds some pro-CCP congressmen, they sit down together, rent a venue to hold a meeting—that's very normal, nothing unusual. Now the State Department has refused her entry, perhaps because they have no interest in her. Marco Rubio is now presiding over the State Department, and Rubio is absolutely anti-communist. If you are pro-CCP, would Rubio let you in? Even if he lets you in, it's not his intention; it might just be an invitation from other pro-CCP congressmen, which has no political significance at all. As for the White House, don't even think about it; there's no way in.
So, Cheng Li-wun's visit to the United States this time is a truly ugly performance, being scolded everywhere she goes, with people cursing her everywhere. She is now left with only her own people surrounding her as she walks around, but she is scolded everywhere. Last time in San Francisco, she was scolded; my friend told me she was scolded as soon as she arrived in San Francisco, it's just that there was no video recording that time. This time, there is video recording of her being scolded in New York, and the video says, "Embrace the CCP, Taiwan becomes Hong Kong."
Everyone remember, if you are a KMT member, the first thing you should do is to kick this rotten person, this headliner, off her pedestal, make her step down immediately, and find someone capable, virtuous, and clear-headed, and don't go licking the CCP's boots. You can have a dialogue with the CCP, but don't go licking the CCP's boots. Dialogue with the CCP is simple: you don't offend me, I don't offend you; if you offend me, I will fight back. Everyone can sit down and talk, but never become a part of your CCP.
Now everyone is playing the unification card and the Taiwan independence card. Taiwan itself is already independent; there are two countries—the Republic of China and the People's Republic of China. You argue with the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), but actually, it would be better to scold Chiang Kai-shek. The past Republic of China, one is the Republic of China, one is the People's Republic of China. If Chiang Kai-shek didn't want to engage in Taiwan independence, he could have just removed the Republic of China and called it directly the Taiwan Province of the People's Republic of China, wouldn't that have worked? Go dig up Chiang Kai-shek's grave then. You can look into these histories; the DPP just inherited it. Now everyone calls it the Republic of China, and the portrait of Sun Yat-sen is still hanging above the President, right? It's all like this, why go scold the DPP?
If you scold the DPP, you might as well say that when Ma Ying-jeou was president, you should have just not been president and called yourself a provincial governor instead; then that wouldn't be Taiwan independence. In fact, it was already independent to begin with. If Ma Ying-jeou really wanted unification, he should have disbanded all the military, renamed the Presidential Office, called it directly the Taiwan Provincial Government of the People's Republic of China, smashed all of Taiwan's democratic symbols, and smashed the Legislative Yuan too. Then you could just hold the flag of the People's Republic of China directly; why still maintain the Republic of China? Two countries mean two countries.
If you want to talk with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), it must be "two countries, two systems," not "one country, two systems." Where is the "one country"? If you want "one country," then close the door. Is it called the Republic of China or the People's Republic of China? The logic of these people is completely contradictory, their behavior and language are also contradictory, and all their language is just like that of the CCP. When the CCP wants you to reunify, it actually wants to eliminate the Republic of China. This is the rhetoric of the CCP, and its ultimate purpose is to completely erase the Republic of China. Within the CCP, the Republic of China is never mentioned; it is always Taiwan Province, treating you as if you never existed.
Yet you still go and collude with the CCP. Cheng Li-wun acted like some kind of character, running to Beijing to demand a meeting with Xi Jinping. To put it bluntly, Xi Jinping is like a client looking for a prostitute—he wants to prostitute the Republic of China and keep you as his mistress. This entire relationship is that of a client and a top courtesan. In essence, that is what it is, and these are all hard truths.
In a few days, Cheng Li-wun's clown show will come to an end; she is going home and will step down. Many people within the Kuomintang are dissatisfied with her, including Ma Ying-jeou now. By now, almost everyone has openly torn off their masks.
Well, that's all for today. Everyone, keep an eye on whether Cheng Li-wun will continue to be cursed at in the United States over the next couple of days. Thanks for watching, and see you in the next program.
