Re: Chinese people must sever ties with the CCP
During the Vietnam War, the US government did not target Vietnamese immigrants. The US and Cuba have been in a hostile relationship for nearly 70 years, but the US government has never persecuted Cubans in the US. Cuban immigrants have been doing very well, and the US has even produced several well-known Cuban-American politicians! During the Cold War between the US and the Soviet Union, Russian Americans were fine. Even during the more than a decade when the US military was fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq, American Muslims were unharmed.
But why is it that as soon as Sino-US relations deteriorate, American overseas leaders are immediately singled out for criticism? Is this all America's fault? Does the overseas Chinese community bear no responsibility at all? Of the Chinese people who swore allegiance to the US flag upon naturalization, how many truly consider themselves Americans from then on? They hold solemn "flag-raising ceremonies" around October 1st every year, but when have they ever put up an American flag in front of their homes on July 4th? How many of them have sent their children to serve in the US military? Whom among them has condemned thieves like You Xiaorong, Zheng Xiaoqing, and Zhang Xiaolang?
They have always treated the US as a sucker and a money tree, receiving generous pensions in China while simultaneously receiving long-term welfare benefits in the US. They also drive luxury cars to line up for free food at every distribution site, only to discard what they can't eat. Every year, they travel back to China to honor their ancestors, give at least two "academic reports," and discuss "introduction and development" projects with at least ten high-ranking officials, introducing 5 "talented individuals." As soon as they encounter any valuable intellectual property in their work, the first thing they think of is how to steal it without anyone noticing and take it back to "benefit the construction and development of the motherland."
If any Chinese person expresses even the slightest identification with or support for the US, they are immediately cursed by a large number of patriotic overseas Chinese as "American dogs," "anti-China maggots," or "colonialists." These "patriotic overseas Chinese" are the ones who condemn the US for "doubting the loyalty of Chinese people" and rage against the US for "anti-Chinese sentiment" and "AAPI Hate" all day long. These overseas Chinese, who have never had a shred of love for the US, only loving American dollars, complain all day long that the US doesn't love them. Bah!
Think about it again, have you ever seen a Little Havana or an Iraqi town? Have Cubans or Iraqis established their own schools? A nation that was unwilling to integrate into the melting pot from the outset [facepalm]
Therefore, I say, Chinese people must first reflect deeply. If there is blame, it should first be placed on the many Chinese people who are always half-hearted, serving two masters, mistaking enemies for fathers, and lacking discernment. They have no conscience, no integrity. Once instigated, they take to the streets to cause trouble, acting as lackeys for the sickle party, and pawns before the scythe.
