On September 18, blogger "Yulie Qige" released a video exposing a bamboo shoot processing plant in Guangdong for using sulfur to fumigate bamboo shoots. The test report shown in the video indicated a sulfur dioxide content of 4860 mg/kg. The blogger recorded the on-site processing and transfer process, and called on local regulatory authorities to conduct a thorough investigation.
