Late at night on September 19, residents of Poly Philharmonic Town and surrounding communities in the Zhaoqing Hi-Tech Zone gathered in front of Zhaoqing Juyuan Biochemical Co., Ltd. and Zhaoqing Changlong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. to protest. Due to long-term health damage caused by exhaust pollution from nearby chemical plants, they demanded an investigation into the enterprises' illegal discharge. Local police and environmental protection departments arrived at the scene to handle the situation, and there is currently no resolution.
