On September 11, a Kuaishou streamer read out a statement twice during a live broadcast, publicly criticizing the Chinese Communist Party and Xi Jinping, and calling for an end to the one-party dictatorship through a non-violent, non-cooperative velvet revolution. About two and a half minutes later, the live stream was forcibly shut down.
