On September 17, residents in Guangzhou reported that a local district, in order to suppress the case data of "two fevers," sent personnel to the Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital to intercept feverish residents seeking medical treatment across districts. Additionally, parents stated that because their children sought medical treatment in another district, the community organized multiple people to visit their homes for "ideological work," forcibly demanding they return to their own district for testing.
