Teacher Gray: The US Democratic Party Needs to See These Issues Clearly
Although they had 8 years, the US Democratic Party was still easily defeated by Trump. This is because of their outdated strategies. Unless they wake up, they will continue to fail. This is detrimental to democracy, because only healthy competition will make us do better and better.
They need to see clearly:

Recognize the direction of American political thought: Americans have not become more right-wing, but some elites are becoming more left-wing. They try to unify everyone's thoughts, but this behavior instead produces the opposite effect.

Adapt to the information environment of the new era. Social media allows candidates to directly reach the audience. Using a down-to-earth communication style, even if mistakes may be made, will build a persona perceived as more authentic.

Identity Politics has completely failed. A candidate's primary job is to win the presidency. Therefore, it is important to choose someone who can win.

Be cautious in choosing words. Although the modern world seems to be an era of slandering others, people will always respect high-quality expressions. In the modern world, when you attack others, it is easy for people to question your credibility because of a slip of the tongue. Tell the truth, trace things back to their source, and try to understand opposing voices. Most importantly, attack policies, not people.

Exclude the far-left in the US. Although it can be seen that the US right-wing can be good friends with far-right elements, I feel that for the Democratic Party, doing so will only lead to continued failure. The American left should keep a respectful distance from those far-left elements.

Leave your "echo chamber." Less than 30% of the US population feels loyal to a particular political party. The vast majority of people can be persuaded. The American left has been performing for itself, but has failed to win the support of moderates and neutral groups.
