Whenever I close my eyes, I can see the future, and this future could not be more beautiful. (TLDR: The future is good, totalitarian systems are bad)

I hope everyone can forgive me. Although I do not particularly like "politics," my recent expressions might be misunderstood. What I value most is not politics, but rather the wonderful future of mankind. Precisely because autocratic systems pose a direct threat to this future, I am compelled to speak out. To me, humanity is heading toward an unimaginable, both prosperous and joyful future, which is our mission. Some backward regime systems from the ancient world might try to stop us, preventing us from realizing this future, so we must defeat them. They are merely roadside waste in the process.

Human history has been extremely brutal. Last week, when I was showing a dinosaur book to the children at home, I was reminded that these dinosaurs evolved only after millions of years of torment. Yet the history of human civilization is only about twenty thousand years long, and no one who understands ancient history would be willing to be born in any era other than modern times.

Sadly, our brains evolved in such eras, so our thinking is filled with errors and biases.

One of them is that the vast majority of people completely fail to understand how fortunate they are. The living conditions of ordinary people today far exceed those of any emperor in history.

Between 1500 and 1800, the printing press allowed humanity to make many breakthroughs, enabling various industries to share information. Between 1800 and 1900, steam power changed human transportation and transit processes. As for how modern electricity and computers after 1900 have changed life, there is no need to elaborate. However, all of this is merely the starting point for the true development of advanced technology.

Yet because of our innate biases, it is difficult for us to truly understand how good this era is. Even more frighteningly, we cannot imagine how wonderful the future will be. Just as people 500 years ago could not dare to imagine today's utopia appearing, people 500 years from now will also not be able to imagine how we got through such painful days.

Sorry everyone, my educational background is limited to music, so I am not very qualified to popularize science, but I have also briefly studied the potential technological development directions to date.

CRISPR will drive the development of biology, quantum computers will strengthen computer science, immature nanotechnology and chemical technology are advancing, artificial intelligence has greatly accelerated all of this, and nuclear fusion will provide us with energy. For us modern people, the future of mankind is a utopia.

But this utopia does not fall from the sky; it is something we must fight for ourselves. Modern people are addicted to negative information, and their thinking easily becomes narrow. We must let more and more people enjoy the high conditions of the modern world and let them see the beauty of the future. Because this wonderful future requires our cooperation to be achieved.

Before we embark on this path, there are still some anxiety-inducing threats. Totalitarian systems tend to place their own survival as the highest priority; the life or death of subordinates and even the future of the entire world do not matter, only dictatorship and autocracy are important. Therefore, concentrating such huge power in the hands of one person is extremely dangerous for humanity. Under the pressure of high-tech competition, the Chinese government dares to use unscrupulous means to gain an advantageous position, which is unimaginable. Even if China cannot defeat the United States in the field of artificial intelligence, we cannot rule out the possibility that they will acquire this advantage through theft or other means and quickly put it into use.

I therefore firmly oppose totalitarianism. In fact, I suspect that no regime in this world can last much longer. Just as past feudal societies and monarchies have become history, current political systems are likely nearing their end. When that day comes, there will still be some challenges. But in today's world, autocratic and dictatorial systems still exist. Although this possibility is not high, even a minor figure like Kim Jong Un can directly threaten our shared future, let alone a dictatorial system with huge power like China. So for me, abolishing dictatorial systems is an important task for all of mankind, not limited to those living under dictatorial rule. Every single one of us cannot allow such unchecked authority to continue. Because totalitarianism threatens not only the people it rules, but also the future of all humanity.
